I’m on such a binge watching skincare videos today and I loved this one - happy to have discovered this channel and really loved how you showed your entire evening routine! 😊
My toddler has eczema, and needed some Eucrisa for a month for a bad flair up. So every time you mention eczema, I’m on it, to help prevent and alleviate his discomfort.
it is a bamboo mat....i highly recommend, especially if you live in humidity....they are a lot more durable than a regular bath mat, so you dont have to replace often due to fading or tearing from too many trips to the washing machine. But I also recommend because bamboo doesn’t absorb water, so it won’t foster the growth of mold and mildew like a traditional mat would.
Oh man, my lower legs have been so dry this winter! I'm definitely going to be keeping my moisturizer tub side so I can moisturize right after showering!! Edit: awesome on adding in the bamboo toothbrush 😉
I use to have really dry skin on my legs (under coconut oil) since watching Dr.Dray I no longer have any flakes ( I use Cerave tub or Vaseline fragrance free)
Let Me Think About It Ever since seeing dr drays sock tip, I’ve decided to keep a container with a few pairs of fuzzy socks in my bathroom cabinet near the tub, and then wash and replace when needed. Such a smart foot care tip, makes me wonder why I never thought of it sooner! :)
Just use coconut oil directly when you step out of shower and your skin is still wet it works wonders and is cheaper. Then apply cotton socks and go to bed

I just picked up Albolene last weekend and boy is it nice - I was using the Farmacy Green Clean, but Albolene takes off the waterproof mascara. I've been eliminating skincare fragrance based on your recommendations since I've been binging your vids the past couple of weeks. Thank you so much for being on YT!! ❤️ 💕
When my skin is damp I moistures my body with eucerin urea repair plus lotion 10% urea. It really helped me get rid of hyperpigmentation in my body and my knee and elbow
My Dermatologist recommended (after first trying another popular brand) Amlactin! It's great cause it really removes all the little bumps on your skin, removes little wart like thingys, sun damage marks and tiny little Piles that the sun damaged after lifetime of Baking my entire body. Amlactin is round $14 for rather small bottle but only size I find it comes in. But supposed to be better than Cerave, plus any other lotions. Due to all the Salicylic Acid. When my face is screaming for moisture from my Tretinoin, I place om face all over with my palms. I also put it all over my body after patting some moisture off, and put on with very damp skin to make it go on smooth due to it being SO creepy thick and greasy. But then I go lie on my towel on my bed under ceiling fan to let it dry for ten minutes. Then I barely know its on my skin. Best thing for my FLAKY skin! Skin so dry that thousands of white tiny flakes come flying off into the air when I take off my tops, and clothing! Thank you, Dr. Dray!!! You are saving me so much money in co-pays to my Dermatologist!!!
I don't think albolene is a good product personally. It is really hard to remove from the face and most people use a warm washcloth which is supposedly bad for the skin due to the physical exfoliation that occurs. For me even showering doesn't really seem to remove it completely. I think I will try the ponds cold cream and hopefully that will come off much better with plain water.
You've really helped me develop a skincare routine that works for me. I do have a question. I notice you change products every once in a while - is there any drawback to sticking with a product that works? Do products become less effective as your skin gets "used to" them?
Vasma Helos, I think Dr. Dray changes products simply because when she's finished with a certain product she already has another similar (with the same purpose) one at home that she may have received or bought when it was on promotion. Also, she has this video "WILL YOUR SKIN GET ADDICTED TO MOISTURIZER?" where she goes over that topic! th-cam.com/video/PM0CwcCgWFY/w-d-xo.html

Thank you for the Kerasal recommendation. I've been using it for a few weeks and it's done wonders for my feet. I could tell a difference after the first use. My feet are sandal ready now.
Thank you for this video. I really appreciate that you explain about the products, especially WHY, such as protecting the skin barrier. Really great info. Am creating a shopping list for products /i've never heard of before!
Unless you start off with a good moisturizer keratolytic like Albolene you have nothing. Most will get nowhere not even with their feet, psoriasis, rosecea and/nor foreskin. So Albolene works, its a great moisturizer and even great for rosecea and psoriasis. So I do suggest you start here. Once they've started with this pre-step then they can pursue your dermatological products. Albolene is also very inexpensive with no active products so it causes no redness and prevents redness while also acting as a protectant balm when washed off. Also great pre and post shaving for sensitive dry skin.
I always felt iffy when it comes with led masks for the face or for hair because I'm scared that when I buy one it's just lights and it's not going to do what the packaging says.

You should try the Vanity Planet toothbrush. I recommend the vanity planet one is because it has a blue light case that kills bacteria 🦠 on your brush.
Yes but longer hair doesn’t equal new hair growth. If the hair is thinning, it’s falling out at an unsteady rate. If it was actually getting thicker you’d have noticed a a fuzzy layer of new much shorter growth around her head, and I haven’t.
When I use Albolene, I remove it with a wet, warm cleansing cloth. Then I cleanse with my regular facial cleanser. This removes any residue left by the cleansing balm, no sticky film. :) I found that it was impossible to get all of the Albolene off with just my cleanser, it must be wiped off first.
I'm a back and side sleeper and I also get frequent migraines, I'm always hoping that the right pillow will help me. I just looked up the Sleep&Glow pillow, I had no idea that a pillow could cost so much, I'm so disappointed.
it won't help all types of hair loss, but for androgenetic (aka pattern) hair loss and age-related thinning, it can yield modest improvements that for some represent a drastic change from baseline
Could you please address rising concers over chemical sunscreen ingredients getting into the blood stream and how there's more testing needed to deem them safe? E.g. there's an article from a few days ago on webmd called "FDA Sunscreen Report Raises Concern Over Chemicals"
Just curious as to why this is just now resurfacing. Has there been a new study or data that has recently come out to make the national headlines? Is one chemical more concerning than another? Hate it when the news throws it out there with very little information on the data they are sourcing.
I did not know you were vegan as well. I think I like you a thousand times more now. I just received my tretinoin from my doc (they send it to me in the mail), so I will definitely try it your way.
I’m wanting to see my gp for a tretinoin prescription but wondering if they will give it to me? I’m 23 and if I look really close I have one fine line 😂😂 but I do really want to prevent more from developing. I used to have acne but after being on birth control I only break out once a month. Do you think asking for a prescription for preventative reasons is suitable?😬
When does she dry off? Wouldn't it remove the lotion since she put it on before drying off? Without using a towel it would take an hour for my body to naturally dry off. I don't understand this routine
My dermatologist recommends washing the hair daily as well, especially after I had cystic acne, and I also work out daily :) I like that sleeping bonet! I use a silky pillow case, I suppose it's the same principle! Thanks for the tips.
wow seeing that hair laser device made me wonder, how do you think about face mask device (with the red lights (?)) and their effect to the skin? do you think they're gimmick or do they really work? (or did i miss a video about it) also thanks to your videos, i cut down my skin care routine from 10 steps to just 5 steps and adding sunscreen reapplying! you're my wallet life savers lol~ have a good day!
i have a video reviewing the neutrogena LED mask. They do help alot, though the outputs are weaker than what you would receive in office. Still though, many people derive a lot of benefit from them.

I need to moisturize before my Tretinoin, I love my Abolene.. and an Air fryer.. I’ll have to try the mini humidifier..
I wish you would recommend more products that are widely available such as Canada. We cant get albolene here or other products.
Appreciate you so much, Dr. Dray. You really help us so much.
I would love to try the iRstore hair laser because I have hair loss and I find it so distressing, however not in my budget.
it won't help all types of hair loss, but for androgenetic (aka pattern) hair loss and age-related thinning, it can yield modest improvements that for some represent a drastic change from baseline
Could you please address rising concers over chemical sunscreen ingredients getting into the blood stream and how there's more testing needed to deem them safe? E.g. there's an article from a few days ago on webmd called "FDA Sunscreen Report Raises Concern Over Chemicals"
see my video on this topic....i say exactly what the fda says..."keep wearing sunscreen, detected in blood does not equal danger"
Just curious as to why this is just now resurfacing. Has there been a new study or data that has recently come out to make the national headlines? Is one chemical more concerning than another? Hate it when the news throws it out there with very little information on the data they are sourcing.
Do you clean your humidifier? Do you worry about mold??
I did not know you were vegan as well. I think I like you a thousand times more now. I just received my tretinoin from my doc (they send it to me in the mail), so I will definitely try it your way.
I’m wanting to see my gp for a tretinoin prescription but wondering if they will give it to me? I’m 23 and if I look really close I have one fine line 😂😂 but I do really want to prevent more from developing. I used to have acne but after being on birth control I only break out once a month. Do you think asking for a prescription for preventative reasons is suitable?😬
How long do you wait after moisturising to apply tret
Pardon my ignorance but where did you get mat that you stepped on while applying lotion?
(or did i miss a video about it)
also thanks to your videos, i cut down my skin care routine from 10 steps to just 5 steps and adding sunscreen reapplying! you're my wallet life savers lol~ have a good day!
i have a video reviewing the neutrogena LED mask. They do help alot, though the outputs are weaker than what you would receive in office. Still though, many people derive a lot of benefit from them.
@@DrDrayzday alright, will check that video then. Thank you!
I love these kind of videos! Very relaxing and informative. I hope you make more like this.
You really have made a perfect video. It's been a lot of work and watching you progress, you cracked how to make a perfect video.
Dr. Dray, I love the Ponds and it's my first step and have been using it for a few years. Do you prefer the Abolene over Ponds?
Georgia Hamilton I don’t care either way...They both so the same thing
@@DrDrayzday Thank you :)
