Brilliant, been looking forward to this.........
Brilliant quiz, just the right balance of difficulty and really well produced. A brief trip back to better times, thank you very much.
Many thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
You smashed it out the park on this one stu, great quiz and great production as always, you should have a tv show! I got 41 today and who can forget hartly hare lol
That's great to hear! So glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the kind words.
Also got 41. That hare was bloody terrifying! Great quiz!
More please!
I really enjoyed this quiz thanks so much
That's great to hear. Thanks!
Stu👍that was superb, my score of 47 was not 🤣loved the play your cards right idea, I thought last of the summer wine would be higher but well over 250 episodes is crazy. Some tricky ones and some I was kicking myself over. My wife thinks I watched far too much telly as a kid🤣🤣thanks a lot that was great✌️🍻
Cheers Martin! 47 is pretty good really as there's a few tricky ones in there this time.
Got 54! I think I spent too much time watching TV! 😊
That's a great score!
A great quiz! A real mix of difficulties from easy, to hang on, I know this one, to I’m never going to get this.
I appreciate the effort you put into making these.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for your kind words!
Loved the higher and lower round… thanks to the dvd covers with the answers !
So pleased with that - 44. Great quiz. Great Fun!
Glad you enjoyed it. Many thanks!
Brilliant, loved it .Thanks for the hard work, very much appreiated.
So glad you enjoyed it. Thanks.
Great bit of nostalgia there stu thanks very much I had 50/60👍👍😁
Thanks as always Ken! Great score there too.
That was brilliant Stu. Thank you. My wife and I got a combined 50. There were a couple of educated guesses in there......😂😂❤
Nice score! Glad you enjoyed it.
👍 Yet another great quiz Stu, thanks again for the hard work... very much appreciated, and enjoyed.
47 / 60, scoring drastically fell apart during the police section, the rest, some educated guessing...would never have guessed the Carlsberg advert 🤫....
🤔 though now not sure if my score is due to a good memory... or way too much TV watching in my much younger years 😊
Nice score! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks as always!
Well, in my youth there were only 3 Television 📺 CHANNELS!!!!!! Yet there was always something good to watch....😍
43/60 - very enjoyable.
I use your quizzes to monitor my cognitive performance, rather than general knowledge. If I never knew it, and the guess is wrong, then no harm done. If I know it but just can't bring it to mind then that's a black mark.
I was just on the point of saying Banacek but I got thrown because the picture looked like Oliver Reed!
That was fun. Got my nostalgia hit for the day.
I could see George Peppard rowing in my mind but the title wouldn't drop. Thought it was a B and kind of Polish sounding. Banaecek. Aghhhh.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks!
50/60, would have been 51 but I guessed Max Bygraves as being the first host of Family Fortunes.
Nice score.
The BIG Classic TV 📺 Quiz: 46/50. Not too bad. I got quite a surprise on some of the questions on “Play Your Sitcoms Right.” 🎭 I was amazed that “Bless this House”🏡 scored higher than “The Good Life”🐣 I remember “Miami Vice” but couldn’t remember the characters. Another great QUIZ🤔
Yes, there were some series of Bless This House that had lots of episodes in them. A lot more than many people realise. Glad you enjoyed the quiz! Thanks as always.
Great quiz, really enjoyed playing. Spotted the picture of ‘Allo, ‘Allo! had “all 84 episodes”, still a lot fewer than last of the summer wine, just pointing it out
Love these quizzes
Great quiz I got just over half of them , brought back memories 😊
36 out of 50 for me Stu.
I'm sometimes perturbed by how much I remember about 70s 80s TV (my casual recollections are that we were out playing or getting up to some "no good" most of the time), but my TV trivia knowledge suggests otherwise!!! But saying that Stu, your thorough probing has uncovered my TV trivia "Achilles' heel", and that was the CALAMITOUS TV cop round where I dropped a shameful SEVEN points!!! I must've gone out to get upto mischief while they were on.
Thanks for another great Quiz Stu. All the best.
It's amazing really how much you can remember of TV from those days, even if you didn't watch some of the shows! Thanks as always for playing.
Thanks for another excellent quiz. I got 51/60 which means I watched too much telly in my youth.
Great score!
Back for another go, love this quiz.
I got 40/60.
I said Fuzzy Bear for last question 😂
Outstanding work. 54 out of 60. Can't wait for the next one.
Many thanks! Great score too.
This is so well put together, brilliant, loved it ,thank you so much
So glad you enjoyed it. Many thanks for playing!
Seeing Fanny Craddock reminded me when the continuity announcer said after a show when she cooked doughnuts, "I hope your doughnuts look like Fannys".
A classic... together with two of my other favourites....
After Virginia Wade slid across court at Winbledon in the 1970s to reach a cross court shot from her opponent "I say look at Virginia's skidmarks !!!"
and the famous Brian Johnson-ism ""The bowlers Holding... the batsmans Willey"
Brilliantly done, and my heads now hurts!
Glad you enjoyed it and sorry about the head!
How many heads do you have?
Only 32/60 but it was a lot of fun. Thanks!
Glad you had fun. Thanks for playing!
That was a good one, I struggled a bit on the 50's and 60's questions and i forgot to keep score, I'll go back and watch it again and let you know.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks!
Lots of fun, thank you. I got 48. Lost 6 points on the cop ones. The rest on the higher lower. Thanks for taking time to do these videos.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing!
8+9+6+10+7 = 40. Top entertainment as always.
Many thanks!
I got 49 out of 60 , I haven't had so much fun watching a quiz on TV since I was in short trousers (which to be honest was yesterday) great show, can't wait for the next one. ❤️
That's great to hear, thanks for the kind words!
45. Enjoyed it as usual. I thought I would do better, but on a few, I knew the answer but ran out of time before my 68 year old brain engaged!
Top man!
Great quiz lots of fun, lots of memories, all my incorrect answers came in the higher/lower round. 57/60
That's a great score! Glad you enjoyed the quiz. Many thanks.
Scored 54 points so well chuffed.
That's a great score.
Your best quiz yet; only got 44/60 but really enjoyed this one.
That's great to hear, thanks!
43/60. The higher/lower round was genius and largely completed in a Brucie voice.
Great quiz, was going well till play your round, dropped 4 altogether. Quite happy with that.
A great score!
I got 6 wrong. A few on those higher or lower number of episodes of sitcoms got me, (simply because they were shows I never watched), and I didn't know a couple of the detectives and/or the cities they were from. The rest was a walk in the park. Thoroughly enjoyable!
Great score!
49 me and the missus. Great stuff Stu, thanks.
Nice score!
great quiz, really enjoyed it.
Awesome, thank you!
Thanks for the time travel Stu dropped 7 this time 😮 really got the memory bank spinning 😵👍👍
Still a great score!
46/60 for me Stu, one wee point, your higher/lower round section, some of the shows pictures showed the episode numbers….😂
Wow that was quick fire 🤣
8/10 9/10 8/10 16/20 7/10 48 out of 60 😁 a few i did guess 🤔 thanks for the video stu 🙂
That's a great score. Thanks as always for playing!
@stuviewtv you're welcome I enjoyed it 😊
Another belter Stu I was doing great until the very tricky and well done play your sitcoms round I don’t know my score as you fried my ickle brain
Sorry about the brain fry but glad you enjoyed it!
Completely random. Seeing Huggie Bear, reminds me of a French police show set in Lyon. Cheriff. His character was obsessed with American cop shows. If I recall, he got injured and saw Huggie Bear (the actual actor from S&H) who 'helped' him solve the case, as the fictional character. I'm sure you wanted to know that ;)
47. Amongst others, forgot about the Police Woman series, and mixed Barbara Mandell up with Country and Western singer, Barbara Mandrell 😂😂
Great ! thanks Stu, fully enjoyed that 😃
That's great to hear! Many thanks.
Never saw an episode of Knight Rider so i csn be excused that one, 42/50
Thanks again for another challenge
Correction, 52/60
I’m pretty chuffed tbh, got a score of 55, didn’t get the Nicholas Lyndhusrt or the Banacek city, really enjoy these Stu, thanks for the effort you put into the quizzes….👍
That's a great score! Glad you enjoy them, many thanks for playing.
Brilliant quiz I got 30 out of 50😊
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks.
50 points. Very enjoyabla
Thanks! Great score too.
Fab quiz as usual, Stu. 55/60. Got caught out on 3 in the play your sitcoms right section.
That's a fantastic score as there were a few tricky ones this time.
@@stuviewtv Thanks Stu. It’s clear I had a misspent youth!
Great quiz! Love it! I onky got 35 but it was great fun. Thank you for all your hard work that you put into making these videos
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks!
Great fun! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks.
8 + 9 + 7 + 16 + 9 = 49. Sign of a misspent youth. Having said that I have a very definite blind spot, between 1977 and 1985. After starting work and up to the mid 80s I was down the pub most nights LOL
Excellent score.
Great quiz though forgot to keep score, also the higher lower round was easier on some as the pictures you used said how many episodes there were ! 😂 edit : just went through again to check score and i got 51 out of 60
49/60, that'll do for me. Some tough ones I would never have got.
Nice score.
Fantastic Quiz Stu as always
Many thanks!
meh, a mere 49. was doing ok til Bruce Forsyth's round
All the 4's, 44 for me. Great quiz! Amazed Last Of The Summer Wine only had 295 episodes, it felt more like 2,095 😂
Yes, it was seemingly on forever wasn't it?
Another great quiz ❤
48/60 not bad .
Helped in the play your cards right section as some of the images had the episode numbers on 😂
I never noticed that when putting it together! Oh well, anything to help!
Final score 50/60
Nice score.
52. I was absolutely terrible at guessing how many episodes there were. Fantastic quiz.
Nice score still.
Go To Work On An Egg was written by novelist Faye Weldon. You should have checked the pictures for Never The Twain & 'Allo 'Allo, they have the number on the front.
I did reasonably well getting 44
9/10 round 1
10/10 round 2
8/10 round 3
18/20 round 4
8/10 round 5
53 Final Score.
That was a fun quiz!
Great score!
@@stuviewtv Thanks, proves I spent too long staring at the idiot box as a kid 😅
A bit late to the show but ended up with 39/ 60 broke down, in the order of the sections, as 7/10, 9/10, 8/10, 10/20 & 5/10
Aargh ! Huggy Bear of course, I got 31 - pretty average.
Quite a work out for the memory. i scored 47.
Not from the U.K. but got most of the U.S. shows, knew Angie Dickinson in Policewoman but not the Character name & knew Banachek but not the city
I never knew that Olsen wells did the voice over for Carlsberg ad?…..and I knew it would of been last of the summer wine because that went on even in to early 2000s so there was no contest there 😂
53 out of 60. I dropped Marks on Orson Welles, 4 on the tv cops round, thought Barbara Mandell was the first woman to fart on British television, and thought Delia Smith was much too young to have had a series in 1973. So that is where I lost my 7 points.
Great score!
Absolutely loved this episode me and the missus joined forces tho does that still count lol
Absolutely!
Damn, you know the faces but forget the names. Great quiz.
Many thanks.
Flying till the last round then had a brain freeze. Still ended up scoring 50 which for me is pretty good i think 👍👍👍🤣🤣🤣
Great score!
Excellent Stu. I assume you knew that one or two of the sitcom DVD covers you used had the number of episodes on them.
I didn't until after the video was complete. Oh well, at least it helped!
A lot of hard work has gone into this. Very very enjoyable Stu - thank you. Wide completely beat me 52 out 70 Vs 48! Umph!!
Keep them coming Stu 😀😀
Many more to come! Congratulations to your wife too!
I got 45
some of those were really tough but i got 43
55/60 points
Great score!
The title is slightly misleading as you have 50's/60's questions in it too.
But I still did pretty good (am 56)
Ok so I got:
#1 9/10
#2 9/10
#3 10/10 OMG didn't expect that. (295 for LoSW as well wow)
#4 12 points only.... Dam
#5 9/10
My son phoned right at #5 Q6 so held me up 🙄
Nice score!
@@stuviewtv Thank you, I will admit my parents owned a TV/Radio sales rental and repair shop In Lewes in East Sussex from mid 70's to early 2000's and my dad worked there for years before they took it over so always had tv and VHS etc before all my mates (just on weekends mind, he took anything back Monday mornings lol) absolute stars my mum and dad were (Still are now in their 80's)
Only 44/60 but enjoyed it all the same!
Thanks!
40
Can you please try and find a kids programme from the 70's, on at the weekend and had a character called Mackintosh Mouse in Cheshire. Nobody remembers it but me. PLEASE, PLEASE, put me out of my misery. ❤
For number 10 in the picture round of who was playing Sherlock Holmes does the answer Grand Moff Tarkin count? I couldn’t remember his real name.
very good quiz, although it was the "Higher/Lower" round that caught me out.
55/60
Excellent score.
I always thought that Banacek was an insurance investigator not a policeman.
He was indeed. A mistake on my part.
35...😣 .... Fairly lousy.... Good quiz tho'. 👍
47. I'm useless with TV cop shows. (By section, 9, 10, 7, 11, 10)
Still a great score.
Better than I did last time 41. I thought Banacheck was an insurance investigator, (Who worked out how a swindle was done) not a cop
I think you are right - who can forget the opening credits with him rowing? Remember one episode where a train disappeared.
@@huwlewis9059 Not sure it was a whole train, wasn't it a "flat bed" in the middle of the train with something on it, but the train never stopped? and said flat bed vanished.
63
3 and a half wrong. couldn't remember police woman's character name and obviously bancek but two wrong on the play your cards right round. Not that round's biggest fan but hey not too bad
Thanks Jimmy.
Totally, Antonio FartGas, if you were an unruly teenager when this was out...!
Banacek was an insurance Investigator not a Cop.
Thanks for the clarification.
When the DVD says how many episode there were and its one out ?? lol
The one in question was the final special that wasn't included on the DVD
probably best not to have the answer in the picture 😉
