Who would be your number one choice for a nail biting conversion? Let us know in the comments!
pollard 2019 vs wales
Marcelo Bosch , argentina, vs new zeland 2011
How many of these are conversion kicks and how many are penalties?
I seem to remember Don Clark of NZ (1950s) was responsible for a number of close wins. I remember there was one game where all NZ's point came from his boot.
stephen donald
Francois Steyn is the most powerful boot in the world. The man is a beast behind his kicks.
When Frans Steyn kicks it always the same, "Its the altitude, its the altitude"... When he's at sea level, "Its the breeze, hes got the breeze"
Dan Biggar's kick literally translated to millions in revenue for the country.
Carter & Steyn🔥 💪
Oh wow! Very "NAIL BITING" 😂 Half these kicks were before halftime!
Isn’t it called penalty kicks, conversions are kicks after a try
some of them are conversions some are penalty kicks. They should say goal kicks which covers both of them
Fraans Steyn... What a cannon... What a legend...
What a remarkable kicker was francois styen..no one can match him...only Halfpenny and jordie Barrett came close to steyn
Francois Steyn DEFINITELY!!!
Of course! Anytime any day!!
Fraans Steyn..." Slotting 60m+ monster kicks since 2003"... Consistently
Good to see Hugo Porta in there. What a great goal kicker and player he was. Respect from NZ Senor Porta
5:40 “he wont get it”
Reverse psychology helping a bit there
For this it has to be Wilkinson’s penalty in extra time against Australia in 2003. People only remember the drop goal!
Pollard vs Wales 2019 was also pretty decent.
Africa ruled in that list. 5 out of 10. Well done Saffers and Namibia
The power of Carter is amazing
The real power of Carter is that he even makes the top 10
@@ryanwaugh1 for real ....legends never die 💪
(Correction) Namibia vs Fiji was in 2011. Not 2015.
i was going to say the same thing... it was in 2011, 10 years ago... unbelievable
No Frans Steyn 2007 world cup final?
Percy Montgomery was the boks kicker at 15.. Quite accurate.
@@gameadadams5338 frans steyn also slotted a 50m penalty in the final
wasn't a conversion
Steyn always be the Man
imagine how we would remember Hugo porta if he had played for New Zealand
Scot Redding ..... the SAFFA that got away
What about handre pollard in 2019 against Wales?
Yep, that was a MotM performance for good reason. Made the crucial break one phase before the de Allende try, and slotted all his kicks. I like many rugby players, but if I could only pick one favorite player, it'd be Pollard. He's a classical complete 10. Doesn't have a weakness.
@@JTM1809 not to mention great physicality wich is rare for a ten and turns him from an all rounder to arguably the best ten in the world when playing with the springboks
@@xdlukas That's exactly what I meant by the complete 10. Many great 10s lack size. Pollard is nearly 100kg, perfectly capable of playing a line-crashing 12 (and he loves to do that).
He just ticks all the boxes: great pass, great boot, great game management, distribution, aerial play, nerves of steel, winner mentality. And then he brings the size on top of all that.
@@JTM1809 agreed
Lemme guess you two from South Africa😂😂
Scott speeding 🇫🇷🇫🇷
Steyn - World Cup final 2007 should also be here. McDonald...2011 final...
First kick there were bugs on the post on the left
Very good shot the 🏈.😘
*🏉😂
nyc kick
Frans Steyn and Carter
What about Quesadas' convesrion for the Pumas against Ireland in 99?
Even before this, as it happened in fact, when Frans Steyn got injured that lost us that Australia quarterfinal. Agreed? I mean that entire game was so frustrating not getting any penalties within 50m. Even Lambie tried a dropgoal but he had no power therefore no accuracy.
Is it a thing for fly halfs to be attractive? Is that like a requirement of the position?
What’s the point of this without showing the score line or the clock for context? Daft
FRANSIEEE!!!
Where is gela afrasidze
Some truly bizarre “nail biter” selections in here …. It makes me wonder who’s picking them?
Hugo porta and Dan biggers
5:37 shocking abuse from those fans makes you ashamed to be human
I want to be a winger or a prop For England or all blacks aka new zeland when I grow up
part of me would like to revert to the original laws of rugby where the individual who scored the try took the conversion
Porta
N°3 WTF????? - i could have done that myself..!!
Every single one of these videos has at least 1 wrong date... come on World Rugby, you can do better
Fiji Namibia was 2011. I was there.
Oh and it literally says "2011" in the background 😊
