Unpopular opinion: florida is one of the most undisciplined teams in the league. On top of that, after every whistle they throw a punch or slash. It doesn’t even help their game to play like that
only unpopular in FL. Everyone else sees them for who they are. A team that got carried by their goalie and when they get behind , they start acting out. Soft teams get bothered by it but the Knights are SO much tougher than they are. FL are pretenders with a good goalie. Thats it.

I’ll tell you, as a blues fan barbashev is the steal of the deadline. He’s all over the knights playoff run. He’s a part of every significant play even if is doesn’t show up on the scoresheet and his forechecking is absurd. I’ve alway said the blues system holds him back. A lot like tj oshie and berglund. Barbashev is a legit 30 goal threat.

3 goals on 14 shots... When your goalie is playing as well as Bobrovsky, and he's allowing that many goals on so few shots... the problem is your TEAM. He was getting hung out to DRY in this one. They made a game of it, but the Panthers' defense has to be better than that.
Sounds like one explanation. Some people have said throughout the postseason that Bobrovsky carried them this far.

This was one of the most entertaining games of the playoffs, EASILY. The first 2 goals by Vegas were BEAUTIES, the Panthers score a 1 in a million shot off of TWO defensemen… and ALMOST come back from a 3-0 deficit In the game.

Imagine the roller coaster emotions that Boston fans are experiencing: getting to see the tables turned on the team that eliminated them, but also seeing their former coach on the brink of winning a Cup with another team a year after he was fired.
Had Cassidy been in Beantown, Bruins would still be playing. No way would he have mismanaged the goalie situation the way Montgomery did, costing them the series.
As a Vancouver fan, knowing that both Vegas and Seattle are far more likely to win cups in the next few years than my team who never has is depressing as all hell.

I remember when Leafs fans were hated all over social media after the fifth game of the second round. They started throwing things on the ice after Rielly's goal had been overturned. At the end of this game, Florida fans threw tin cans into the area where the hockey players were fighting each other, but of course no one will talk about it, because this is such an amazing underdog story, this team is so nice (no).

Florida is devolving back to their early season play when nothing they did was right. In fighting and finger-pointing almost derailed their season but they somehow fought their way back. Now they have to show that same resilience or they will be done like dinner in Vegas on Tuesday.

Carolina and Florida are my favorite teams. I was not impressed with the win Florida made over Carolina because it was so close while Carolina was horribly injured. I knew Vegas would be the ultimate test to their defense and they are crumbling.

I mean I wouldn’t say “end” just yet. They only came back on Boston 3 rounds ago down 3-1 (the greatest regular season team of all-time). If Bobrovsky can shut the door and Florida gets some bounces at the right times, it could be game 7 in no time. I am cheering Vegas though

@@No_Benefits i agree it’s over but it’s not crazy to think they can’t force a game 7 at least. They’ve only played 3 games in Vegas. Florida was 1-3 in Boston before they won the last 3 games of that series (2 in Boston). Seeing the way my Leafs lost bc of Bobrovsky stopping everything in sight where they would have won 4-1 / 4-2 any other time, really showed me that goaltending can win a series on its own + with the help of some timely bounces going your way. I called Vegas in 5 for the reason their 4 line attack and offensive defensemen would be more than Bobrovsky can handle vs the last 3 series but like I said, I learned this year a hot goaltender can literally rob a series and it’s not far-fetched he can string a couple dominant games together here

But the NHL has always been dominated by Canadian players ever since its inception. This isn't a "crazy stat"; it has been like this for over 100 years.
@@kvernon1 everyone knows Canadians dominate the NHL but even still only make up 41% of the league. This stat is pretty interesting because Vegas is 79% Canadian & Florida is 63% Canadian. That’s quite a bump. And considering Hockey talent is improving in Europe, I’m sure the average fan would have assumed the ratio would be much closer
@@kvernon1 and given that both teams are 38% & 22% more Canadian than the league is Canadian, there have to be some teams with drastically less Canadians to average that out. The finalists are Canadian dominated teams in a league where not every team is Canadian dominated. Basically proving that hockey is Canada’s game and all you other country’s can’t keep up with the real ones!!

При 1:3 в серии с Бостоном всё перевернулось с выходом Бобровского и его вдохновенная игра. Надеюсь, у Флориды кто-то из атаки, Барков (например), обретет невероятное вдохновение и потащит команду в комбэк по серии (остается только верить)
у Рыцарей вратарь тащит не хуже Бобровского. откуда он такой взялся. ну и как всегда уровень защиты Пантер хромает.

Не сторонник апеллировать к судейству, но уж слишком результативной оказалась ошибка арбитров перед второй пропущенной у Флориды: … пострадавший «рыцарь» сперва сам, на другом фланге, пятью секундами ранее, выбил клюшку у игрока Флориды.. Это, конечно, не отменяет того факта, что Вегас своей, более организованной игрой, прямо-таки продавливает соперника..
А «валидол» Флориде в этой игре не помог(…

I think the funnier thing is the last time Canada hoisted Lord Stanley’s Cup was 1993. I was in High School. Now I have a boy in college. Maybe by the time he graduates, the neighbors to the North get their cup back.

That whistle in the last 2 minutes was such a horrible call. Net wasnt off, no one was injured. The reffing in the NHL seems to be getting worse. Im routing for the Golden Knights but you gotta feel bad for the Panthers on that one

I wish Florida would modify their attack because they are way too predictable, they dump the puck and run after it every time. That's why it is soo easy for Vegas to win.
The scrum at the end is because Florida is mad they lost and are down 3-1 in the series.
