If the observants didn't try to interfere, the Nasty Burger would've never been in a state of where it could blow up (because Box Lunch was the reason it was damaged) Technically, Dark Danny's existence is a self-fulfilling prophecy; and completely the fault of the Observants. Also if Lancer chose to meet ANYWHERE OTHER THAN THE PLACE THAT'S CLEARLY UNSAFE, LIKE THE SCHOOL ITSELF what happened was a tragedy, but my god was it easily preventable.
Ong the episode tried to pin it on whatever choice Danny made but are we not gonna talk about how the restaurant had a explosive vat of whatever it was (I forgot) in their restaurant that has to be illegal 😭
@@AntiTheOne it was the Nasty Sauce - which is made in the restaurant. Danny even blows up a packet of it with an ectoplasm blast while fighting Box Lunch - proving it to be dangerous (and it's even stated by an employee a bit later that it needs to be constantly monitored, otherwise the building will blow up) Lancer can believe someone is half ghost with very little evidence, but can't believe the kid who's been working somewhere for a while when they say it's dangerous to be there.
@@Kaylee-Bear my question is HOW IS THAT RESTUARANT still standing a vat full of sauce that can explode and take out an entire block/city shouldn't only (and most likely is) illegal but it endangers lives which should be a national thing to cover or am i tripping
@@AntiTheOne nah, you're not. Honestly, they probably had someone working nights - even if the restaurant itself was closed. But yeah, that crap is probably a massive osha (or at least a health and safety) violation
This is kinda a great lesson in this episode about the horrible consequences of the tragedy by the main hero which leads him discover that consequences will be also turn him a fearsome villain in the future, and the main hero must to set things right to learn his mistakes to ensure his life will never fall apart as his existence of being a fearsome villain in the future will be ceased.
I cannot even imagine how uptight Danny had to become by the end of this show. He tries to use his powers to get back at his bully? Get's possessed by a ghost and trapped in a school of nothing but bullys and is forced to give up on defending himself. Tries to fit in with the cool kids? Unleashes Technus and almost dies. Cheats on a test because he had zero chance to study? Unleashes the dark timeline where everyone dies. He literally can't do anything even mildly self-serving without it spectacularly blowing up in his face, often literally! Meanwhile, his bullies just skip through life, facing zero consequences ever! Danny must be losing his mind trying to be the model citizen while never knowing which slight mistake or bit of self-interest is going to snowball into a nightmarish scenario!
