Deptford HS (NJ) Jazz Ensemble's AWARD WINNING Saxophone section plays an excerpt from Gordon Goodwins "Hunting Wabbits". DTHS's saxophone section received 1st place in the state of New Jersey in jazz competition 2008
I'm so glad to have been a part of this sax section, which has been, without a doubt, the best I've been in. Kyle, Brian, and Ashley, I'll miss you three a lot next year, and Shawn it'll be up to us to keep the section strong!
Very very very nice! I've seen so many high school ensembles and/or soloists on youtube claiming to have received superior ratings at State level competitions when their skill levels are clearly nowhere near superior...I was starting to wonder if all the judges in the country had lowered their standards across the board. Not in this case... This is a 1st Place sax section if I ever saw one. Congratulations!
seriously?? you put this on here?? hey genesis344 that's my bf on the soprano ....and i had enough on my hands without going all altissimo... ;) lol .... it was fun though ... i miss you guys ....

Ehhh Balance is off. Lead Alto needs to be getting up into the altissimo and the soprano could have better intonation.... just saying.
