- roblox playstation is a mistake because roblox did a horrible job releasing playstation on roblox . Roblox playstation was having issues from the moment roblox was released on playstation the roblox playstation lag was so bad and controls on roblox playstation could have been better. Roblox made a huge mistake releasing roblox on ps5 or roblox on ps4 because roblox was not ready to be roblox relased to ps5 or roblox released to ps4.

Roblox on ps4 would run a lot better if it actually utilized the graphics card and not putting the whole load on the cpu.

As a console player, it really sucks having to play on ps4. Like why can’t I chat? There’s so many issues on PlayStation like my avatar not loading and random lag spikes. I just hope roblox actually fixes this..

i have roblox in ps5 and i play mouse keyboard in it and let me tell you this ITS SO LAGGY AND THERES NO SHIFTLOCK AND NO CHAT AND NO VOICE CHAT it’s so horrible and i can’t afford a pc i think they should give console players more attention

The worst thing about Roblox on console is the fact that theres no chat.
Worst part is that it was delayed and still the glitches appeared. The two major things they should fix is the KBnM cursor glitch and the no chat system

Crazy that there's no PS5 version of the game, no shift lock in certain games, NO CHAT and navigating in game by using the touchpad sometimes makes the game freeze.
I do not have problems with lag on my PlayStation. Everything runs smoothly

As a ps4 player i can say is it crashes are common but the gameplay is good might have little lag moments but it's fine

btw for no chatting part you have to blame microsoft for that chatting used to be thing on roblox xbox but they removed it due to microsoft guidelines

As a playstation player, everything you say in this video is completely true. It’s hard to play anything as games tend to lag A LOT. Like I could be playing a different game with much higher graphics like call of duty and I will be perfectly fine. Even simple roblox games lag for me. And don’t even get me started on not being able to chat. I just wish roblox actually cared about it’s players and did some beta testing
I didnt really have any lag on my ps4 but most of the controls doesn't work for some reason such as the R2 in (sbg - conbat warriors-doors) if anyone had any suggestions on how to fix it ill really appreciate it

Honestly not surprised considering the Xbox version has been neglected for years and is still a terrible port to this day, not being optimized for the Series X/S, game crashes, random lag spikes, no voice chat, etc.
PlayStation 4 user here, the optimization is bad and i agree that fps is down, however, Roblox is making 2 updates in one week.
Also, the buttons/controllers binds are making it better aswell, example, DOOR has their own PS4/5 binds already because it detects the platform, and games develops are kinda working on control binds, they just use the XBOX binds for PS4/5, since is a console platform, another example is Console Phantom Forces, they use XBOX server and Ps users are allowed to join, and the keybinds are the same(kinda).

Ps5 gets frame drops to you people either don’t know when fps drops but it does when you play certain games
I use ps5 I have no lag issues but literally my biggest issue is that I can’t chat to other people loads of games I play require you to talk in chat to other people and say things in chat it’s literally so bad they better fix this bc Roblox is so unplayable on console
Nearly a year later and it’s still a slow mess on ps4 and all issues seen on day 1 is still there today

Indeed I already uploaded the video 1 month ago about the optimization of Roblox on PlayStation. And even if you're playing on PS5, it's still optimized bad and laggy too. And sometimes it crashes when you leave the experience or when you play the experience. And let's talk about infinite loading assets/presets. It takes forever to load the stuffs even the hobby/menu or some experience games, but sometimes it won't load anything and it's just stuck the loading stuffs, assets, presets, everything, not even my avatar and their avatars won't load, not even the UI menus. Maybe it's my internet who's bad? Or maybe it's the HDD who can't handle Roblox with all experience games and I need SSD m2, who knows...
Imo, there's something of everyone but it's overall trash to me.This is my first time playing on console and there's nothing precise. From the movement, doing an action, depending on the game mode, and its annoying. I'd recommend Fallguys before Roblox.

Playing on the us timw it got relased it was fine. No lag . No bugs. Only things bad waz no chat(honestly u dont need chat to have a good time) and some games are unaviable. But thats not only with playstation

They didn’t finish making it and they released it like you can’t join server or show someone profile or see the game states like badges game passes you can’t see them they count them one button and most importantly there is no chat why they released it and the sensitivity you can’t control it in some games and you can’t zoom out a lot

Yes, they did a horrible job in terms of optimization on PS4, I have the PS4 Pro and it is horrible in games like Greenville, it has drops up to 5 fps and it does not stay at 60 at any time, how is it possible that games like cyberpunk run better on ps4 than roblox, it's a total joke.
I play on a PS4 slim and get 4-30 fps in Greenville. I'm sure it's on both Roblox and the experiences.
There is a console version of Phantom Forces which runs very smoothly surprisingly
