For anyone wanting to reverse it, I managed it in an hour by pretty much playing this video backwards. The only tricky part was feeding the strap back into the metal adjuster thing at 3:36, I had to unscrew the metal part (you also need pliers to hold the nut at the bottom).

Really helpful video thank you,just one little note i believe the yellow adjusting knob on the rear needs to be reinstalled for height adjustment on the headrest section unless keeping it at maximum height, thanks again.

Please PLEASE PLEASE do a video on how to put the straps and harness back on I am finding this impossible for such an expensive car seat there should be a video somewhere on how to put it back together I need it for a younger child now HELP please help!!!!

Took me about 40 minutes - nightmare! Now I see why people just leave the harness in and put their older kid on top

I would fire the engineers who designed that. Complicated as fuck. Good luck finding how to put back those belts and on the time wasted doing so, in case of a younger kid

We dissembled our seat for our lad 3+ years back and could not recall how to reassemble for our 1 year old. Found 2 others for reference hopefully help others in our situation. One is Russian and another English, a combination of all 3 got us back to wear it should be. Oh, I thought this would be direct instructions for conversion back to Group 1, but you developed your own solution I guess by looking at the 3 videos.

Without ISOFIX? Both child and car seat are held solely by seat belt. The child might suffer heavy impact from car seat when there is a crash.
We are talking about Recaro, they wouldnt risk their reputation if there was a research proving that belt alone seats are dangerous comparing to isofix seats.
