Mine keep being too lose I'm going to look for the right rings. I couldn't find anything. Thankyou for explaining why mine keeps turning out too lose. I need to get the rings that are for chain 🔗 mail.

    Your excellent video makes me want to spend hours on this activity! You've given me the knowledge & inspiration to make jewelry for the men in my life this Christmas '17. The girls & women were already a given, but this is going to be fun. I doubt I will use craft wire though because I want the tarnish on metal. I love the color of old silver & copper. Black is very tempting though...I'm just saying.

      @no-oneshome3083 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Serene T I made one with 6mm inside diameter. had some left over from making chainmail armour little bit to loose that size. gonna go for 4mm inside diameter rings next. apprantly 3.5mm is the smallest you can really go. otherwise the holes are to small to really work.

    Kelly, thank you so much for showing us (out here in TH-cam watching land) how to make this bracelet. I made one for my nephew and he really liked it. My grandson wants one now, so I'm making his out of antique brass jump rings. 😊

  • @bluefox7092
    @bluefox7092 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    sometimes if you are making one of these if it's really small it helps to use a sewing pin to hold the jump rings when making these so you can grab a jump ring and slide it in and take the pin out

    • @no-oneshome3083
      @no-oneshome3083 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Luis Rivera took me about 30 mins to get the hang of the first section. then got the hang of it pretty quickly. made a 2 foot length in 30 mins after that. and that was my first ever try at any kind of jewellery making. try searching for byzantine mail by by I think cultic dreams. he has a very easy to follow guide.

    What size jump ring?is it 20 or 18 ga

    • @offthebeadedpath
      @offthebeadedpath  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Both sizes will work. 18ga will give you a fuller look and 20ga will give you a look that has a little more room to it. I've tried both and like them both.

    I am so sorry for using your site for my verbal confrontation with Ksjdnfd Jsnnba. Anyone not willing to use their actual name was not worth the time of day. You appear to be so sweet in your videos that her rudeness irritated me and I wanted to set her straight. It will not happen again! I love your videos. Keep ignoring the unhappy, angry, surly people.

    • @wannaseeization
      @wannaseeization 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would prefer that Kelly spend her time demonstrating the process rather then taking up time making us watch her wiggling the ring ends back and forth for a perfect closure.

    • @wannaseeization

      Since you are such a perfectionist you should check your spelling when are voicing your critique.😂

  • @ksjdnfdjsnnnba1325

    This is a bad toutorial. open the middle ones only before simply adding the last 2 rings (which you don't have to open) before the flip and you can save about a 1/3 of the time spent making this

  • @ksjdnfdjsnnnba1325

      @barbaraburnett4314 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You actually, most rudely, said go get an education. I know how byzantine is pronounced according to the dictionary. Why bother make a big deal of it? Just rude! Did it make you feel good about yourself to make an attempt at demeaning another? If you are so intelligent and verbally eloquent, where's your video? I was making an attempt to not be as demeaning as you were, but unfortunately, you have to make attempts to knock someone. Next time just click on the thumbs down and cease watching the person's videos. Unless building your own ego is what you're after. Please let me know when you make your FIRST video so that I can watch it.

      Barbara Burnett why are you stressing about a comment , don't you have anything better to do , a job or something
