It Got Too Dangerous. We Have To Protect Our Family!!

- We really do enjoy all the animals when we got Wilbur. We thought he would be here forever. With Wilbur already snapping at Brayley a couple different times we can’t take any more chances that is just way too dangerous.
Hello my name is Stephanie. My husband and I just recently purchased 17 1/2 acres and started our own farm.

Nice looking lady turkey
❤watching the video ❤
❤️😀⛄️❤️😀⛄️❤️😀⛄️❤️
I always gave my nursing females 2 meal a day of kibble, cottage cheese & 2 raw egg. Especially when they had over 8 pups.
Where's the other turkey
Just a suggestion, you need to pen them up in a smallish pen and it makes it soooooooooo much easier. LoL
I love both your channels! You have to do what’s best for all concerned. Thank you for being responsible and doing what was right. Glad you got Jerry a girlfriend . Blessings from OKC. ❤
Your thumbnail is so misleading!!!!! I am thinking about not even clicking on any more, sorry guys ! I like your channel but it is getting to be too much. May God bless you all with a healthy Happy New Year.
Was sorry to see Wilbur and Ernie leave, but if they were not neutered, males can turn into meanies. Sows and boars have been known to eat even their own babies. Safety first with the goat kids and your kids. I am really glad you got a potential GF for Jerry, unless Oscar gets more interested.
Your tittle gave me a bit of a scare. I thought something had happened and you were quitting Utube. What a relief as Utube is the only platform I follow, and I would have missed you all. I so like warching you two interact with your children and how you implicate them in the work of the farm and teaching them good ethics.
How about Foxy Lady for Jerry's girl? God Bless and I love y'all 💕💕💕
You are doing the right thing with protecting your children and goats from the pigs it’s definitely sad but understandable ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ thank you for sharing this with us ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Get those piggies out!!😮😢 The kids are so cute!!
You two always do what is best for your family and your animals. The puppies are so precious. Dixie sure has her paws fool. The baby goats are adorable. Blessings to you all . ❤
Pig will chase down baby goats and I have pictures on trail cameras to prove it, but there wild pig but a pig is a pig 😢
❤❤
Did you get rid of your male Llama
No, he’s still here
Love your content but you had me worried over the title. That was not a good choice but I understand you want clicks and I did just that. Maybe something not so dangerous in the titles would be better. Sorry that’s just my opinion. But I love the baby goats!
A HOG WILL EAT A HUMAN IF THE PERSON FALLS AN CAN NOT GET UP OR DIES IN THE HOG PEN...
SO YES I BELIEVE THAT THE HOGS ARE THE BABY GOAT KILLERS...
SO SAD TO HEAR THAT YOU LOOSE FARM ANIMALS BECAUSE OF A HOG
Just get a bucket of food hogs
I thoroughly enjoy your family and the animals. But - the click bait is just going too far! It actually makes me really uncomfortable. You are a wonderful Christian family and don’t need it! The click bait is so unsettling!
Pigs should always be penned up by themselves. It’s their nature. I would never run pigs with the rest of my livestock. There are one or two breeds that can be pets, but generally I never let my kids close them. I never considered them safe.
So glad you were aware and able to relocate the hogs. I grew up in farm country and went through school with a few kids who had lost fingers from taking care of hogs. They can and do eat anything they can get at. I don’t think it’s a good idea to have them around the kids or pups.
Pigs not Hogs. Also, other pigs don't behave in this matter. You've just generalize. It depends on their raising, and if they at times been fixed. If not ? You have to raise them well. Because their system is designed on survival an help eliminate food scraps/waste we throw. That's like saying somebody should put you in jail for j-walking trying to escape from a thief. You don't erase you're nature. Nor should you demonize others for theirs. Learn to adapt an form with their rhythm Not change them to you're liking. God forbid someone takes one liberty you have.
I agree you don't need an pig that's going to bite the kids or eat other animals ,puppies look great 👍🏼
Why didn’t the guard dogs protect the babies from the pigs? That is awful to even think about.
Pigs and goat don’t belong in the same pen ,
I love the baby goats and the way they hop around. So cute and precious. The little Cria is gorgeous. A baby llama and alpaca under 6 months is called a cria, pronounced KREE-uh. (I googled it. LOL) I don't blame you for getting rid of the pigs. They will eat anything, given the chance, and I mean anything.
How about some bacon. Porkchops are good.
What the heading said was , "SAYING GOODBYE TO TH-cam". Very misleading. What the Person you traded these "dangerous"
Pigs to said in her heading " Bartering with the Eddy Family Farm". I will continue to watch you guys as I really enjoy your family and children all taking part in caring for the animals. I know video creators know drama gets more views than non drama, but this time it really was misleading.
You said it all when you said that he didnt feel right about it
There was no reason to justify their removal. If you ever decide to try again i would suggest you not mix omnivores in with anything that produces meal sized babies.
Hi Brandon and Stephanie. From what I have heard from goat farmers, the mama is the only one who should be eating the babies’ placenta. The pigs should be in there own pen, period. Wild hogs eat meat! It’s not a far stretch to think of domestic pigs doing it too.
The livestock guardian dogs eat it as well. They don’t leave it laying around because they don’t want predators to show up.
Thank you for saying this, I agree with you 💯%. Why are the pigs with goats, especially when the Momma Goats who are going to give birth any day, the pigs eat are eating the baby goats.
While Wildlife Guardian Dogs may eat the placenta they do so to protect the goats from predators. Pigs are not going to be protective of the goats - pigs are predictors which is exactly why they ate baby goats 😥 and they were still in pens with the momma's 😡
@@LifeOnTheEddyFamilyFarm Comparing the Pigs to the Live Stock Guardian Dogs is like comparing Apple's to Oranges.
Live Stock Guardian Dogs protect the goats - the pigs are predators to the goats.
If you get meat pig's they have to be kept separate from everyone.
The more I look at this video, and past videos and titles, it’s almost starting to feel staged. With all the goat births I’ve never seen the pigs near the afterbirth. The whole “they came and took our flag down”, the fire, the pulling the gun out🤦🏾♀️I’m not hating on them at all and the people that’s telling folks mind your business remember Brandon and Steph themselves ask for peoples opinions. To agree or disagree comes with the business. We are just simply saying stop using misleading titles. Stand on your word, I understand you have to get attention to your channel but not like this. To mislead people is dishonest, deceitful we see enough of that everyday. We are set apart in this world not of the world. We are representing Christ. Correction in love not abuse,That’s all
I really do enjoy y’all channel but to be honest I am starting to have a issue with the clickbait. All the titles seem a little missing leading. You guys are a good Christian family, you don’t have to make misleading titles your fan base will follow you. So please be honest, thanks
The clickbait and the drama thumbnails are why I don’t watch them as much as I did when they first aired they strayed away from their original way they done the videos
I quit watching Dutch and some others for just that. It’s annoying to say the least.
Thank you for saying something!
True true. Stopped watching for same reason. I hope they learn this is how to loose subscribers.
Just help me understand how this is Clickbait the pigs are leaving TH-cam. They will not be back on TH-cam.
you have to keep any and all pigs away from other animals. They eat everything!
The decision was the right decision , stay safe !
A little bit of research on all these animals you think you need right now might be helpful. When kidding season starts the pigs should be kept away from the other animals. It is their nature. And they can not be on a diet of only hay. So they are hungry because when you feed I see nothing that the 2 pigs are getting to eat let alone enough for all the other animals. I watch other farm video's and I do not see their goats jumping fences like a lot of your goats do and their fences are the same height. They are jumping cause they are hungry. And Braylee needs to be told to not get so close to some of the animals for her own safety. Those donkeys, horses, and llama's could really hurt her too just by her getting trampled or kicked. I am sure I will be called a hater for saying anything but it is all true and I just want to see if maybe you would listen to other people.
Totally agree. I just can not believe what is happening on this show. @@sherrywilliams409
Omg they made a mistake. Glad to know you are perfect!
Hi Brandon and Steph, those puppies are the cutest little things. Enjoy your day!! 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
❤Hey y'all ❤️ Glad you found a good home for pigs. I'm not much for pigs. Your baby goats are precious! The puppies are growing fast too! Welcome to the farm sweet turkey😊 God bless ❤️ 🙌
You did right by getting rid of the pigs. Suggest if you all decide to get more pigs later keep them in their own pen away from the other animals and keep the kids away from from them to keep the kids safe
Isnt mom supposed to eat the placenta to start milk production and nutrients? Or not? Im not sure if the others eating it is good?
I agree. Mamas are supposed to eat the placenta. Brings on all that nutrition. Brings on the milk. It’s just natures way of all the vitamins and everything that’s in that placenta that she needs. I wouldn’t have let anything eat that placenta.
I was watching another video when I seen your title and had to stop watching and click on your video because my heart started racing!!!
Don’t scare us like that!!!!!! Oh yes pigs need to be kept away from the babies even on pig farms they have things to keep the Moms from killing their babies!
Such a difficult decision to make. Bless y'all.
Yes pigs gotta go to protect your goats but especially your kiddos. Thanks for sharing. Blessings ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This video breaks my heart 💔😢!
I rarely comment although when I do I'm always kind and very positive, I don't condemn anyone nor do I tell how you should run your life or suggest how you should care for the animals. It's not my place to do so BUT I've got to say I'm terribly DISAPPOINTED at the moment, I can't believe y'all would leave Momma goats in with the pigs knowing they could give birth anytime, then leave the Momma and babies in with pigs knowing they had eaten the other set of baby goats, did you not think it would be a good idea to put the pigs in their own enclosure to keep them separated from the goats? Not only did they eat those poor baby goats, they've also shown aggression towards the children!
There's an old saying "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”
I really can't wrap my head around this, I'm sorry y'all were very careless.
I've been a loyal viewer of both you and Steph's channels from the onset.
I am so saddened by this vlog.
Well said
@@Daveinpa Thank you
History repeating itself over and over again getting more and more animals and not taking proper care of them
Omg they made a mistake. Get over it.
You tried your best. Your children safety always comes first.
Jerry is a beautiful show off.
Dixie's pups are darling.
Thanks for the video.

Hello....haven't watch very many of your videos yet, but wondering what's wrong with that sweet doggie's front left foot? Love the little kids (goats), too. :)
Steph, smart decision on the pigs and a good trade! Charlie will be happy. The puppies are soooo cute! God Bless!
You have to protect your children and the goats. Wilbur and Jerry will be fine.
What cute little babies. Yes, the piggies needed to go to a new home. I would be scared too. Looks like your tom turkey was prancing for the little lady. So cute.
Sorry about the baby goats. Ya'll and Jerry will be much happier now. Princess Leila is beautiful. It's going to be fun watching her grow. I can remember being about Braylee's age and crawling in with the mama and a large litter of puppies for a nap.Time well spent! LOL
When you buy pigs it is always best to keep them separated in their own pen from all the other animals. Especially if you have intact males. They do become dominate and can become dangerous. Just saying.
Pigs had to go for the safety of the kids and goats! Smart move Stephanie & Brandon! ❤❤💘
I’ve heard to not pick up a baby goat soon after it is born!
Right dissision on the pigs, love the trade off though ❤ new name WILLOW, CELINE or SWEETPIE. XXX
❤💙💚💜💛💖
Another Great Day At Life On The Eddy Family Farm

😊
God bless you're Family
Why did Marie name her chicken th same names as your ponys Romeo, and Juliette, being best friends like you are I would never name my pet the same as my friends animals and it gets confusing when there names are said I alwise think of your ponys abd not the chickens nit to mean any disrespect just wondering
Stephanie I’m glad you made the exchange. Dixie is a good mama and the puppies are so adorable! ❤Nice to have such great neighbours and friends! Now we can watch the honeymoon couple and see if they get along. ❤ Loved you video! God bless you all!❤❤❤
Or put piggies in a different pen😮
Hello Steph 👋 your babies are sure cute & their colors are beautiful!! God bless🙏
So glad you were there! So glad the pigs went down the road! He likes being on camara & so they are 2 ships in the night lol!!! I saw the video them catching those pigs! How are the turkeys getting along?
That was a good video I really enjoyed it! See you next video, & God Bless!🙏🫶🥰🤗

U sick of all the misleading g titles as well
You are right Steph, y’all made the right decision to get rid of the Pigs, they can get really mean, and y’all don’t need that around your kids, and other animals, Jerry’s new girl friend is pretty, puppies are beautiful and the new baby goats❤❤❤❤❤❤
At first I thought you guys were leaving TH-cam
Love the new little goats. So cute❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I wanted to say something about how male hogs will even eat their own newborn piglets. That's why the boars are kept separate from the sows after breeding. But I didn't want to seem critical of what you guys are doing. Heck, I've heard of instances where a group pigs have attacted an adult male when he went in the pen and once he was down they ate him. The police could only find parts of him and his clothes. Honestly, I think the pigs are cute but I don't trust them and I'm glad to hear they're going bye bye. I hope Krandall sees this because I've been worried about Maverick around their pig.
I'm really surprised that you have let the pigs run free with all the other animals. Most places I watch have a separate pen just for the pigs, but I do understand that everyone runs their farm their own way. Glad you caught that action as it happened and will take measures to correct it. The new babies are adorable (both the goats & the puppies)
Yes they need to go! You can’t trust them.
Love all of your family and your journey! Like almost all of your animals except the pigs! Just have never been into pigs, but I love all of God’s creations!
the Pry babies are so cute, both of mine died last year
I'm so sorry for your loss. My senior dog also passed away last year. 🙏
Well that was scary! Good trade though. And those puppies!! Nine? wow gonna have little fluff balls all over the farm.
Beautiful puppies 😅
Pigs do eat their own if there is something wrong with it. I know that for a fact I’ve seen it on our own family farm 😢😊 But I’m sad to see Wilbur go😢but it’s for there own good for the animals and the kiddos 😊 glad to see babies being born and to have more in the next few days too. Keep them all safe and sound.
You all did the right thing. It's a wonder they did not go after the puppies when mommy went to eat something. That would have been terrible. I am glad the children did not get hurt too.I like the new turkey .Smart trade.
Thank you for sharing. Love and Blessings to you all.

I'm glad everything worked out so great!! You all did the right thing!! Love n Blessings

Please stop with the click bait, y'all are better than that and your videos are good enough you don't need tricks to get views.❤
Hi Sheph, don’t take chances with the animals! Just a small thingy o the major heard happy! Happy New Year’s to you all and may God keep blessing you and your 🫂🫶🏻👋🏻🇨🇦 Ontario 😍😁xx
Glad you are not leaving utube love your videos
Awe the baby goats just warmed my heart.💕 So happy y’all were able to find a loving home for the pigs. I was anticipating that when Marie opened the trailer that an Emu would pop out.🤣 idk why,but that’s what I had pictured in my head lol
Marie, I agree..she is a gorgeous hen😍
-Natalie
lol that’s what Brandon wanted to be.
Ever since the pigs showed up you guys did have several different kinds of trouble
They had to go. But at least they're going to a good home. The fact that they were prepared to attack the baby goat is bad enough but to have a go at Braylee is a definite bye bye.
As for Jerry's new girl. It was like Jerry took one look at her and though "Nah. I still prefer Brandon's leg." 🤣
You're gradually finding the right balance with the animals.
Love you all. ❤🔥
Wow... so much going on!! It seems better to take the pigs out now before something worse happens to one of your precious kids ❣️❣️❣️ Braylee please don't let that one incident get you down... you go girl 🥰 💜💜💜
A lot of these homesteaders have all their animals together I'm glad you're doing your diligence and future homesteaders keep your animals separated.
Tri color girl is Sweetiful and the boy is adventurous ❤
If you haven't name the turkey hen....call her "Fancy" ❤
Congratulations on the baby goat. I am sorry that you lost some of them. I am sad that you had to get rid of the pigs but I can understand why you felt you had to. The safety of your family and others animals are more important. I hope Jerry comes to like the hen. It would be nice to see little turkey chicks running around. The puppies are so adorable.
Hope you have a wonderful week and May God Bless You and Your Family.
So sorry about the pig issue. This is how we learn, sometimes with not the best outcomes.
Safety of your family is definitely important and of upmost priority. Then safety of your animals.
I’m glad Marie could help you find a new home for Wilbur and Ernie.
This sure will help lessen your stress.
Praying for you all. God bless.
Will not watch channels that have to use click bait like "Saying goodby to youtube" to get people to watch! 😒😒😒😒😒🤔🤔🤔🤔🤐🤐🤐🤐
They didn't say who.. Did U watch the video??
✌🏻👍🏻👌🏻👋
Love it, they were not pets- to be pets- keep them in a place by themselves and pure breads are smaller i believe. If you get as babies they are much friendlier as long as you show attention , but i would still put in area by themselves- check with Doss farms they have a couple that are cool
We love seeing your Babies and your animals babies ❤🥰🥰🥰🥰So many blessings 🙏
I haven't been keeping up with your news! Hope all is well with your family! I have missed all of you! God bless all of you ❤
Baby goats are adorable ❤❤❤❤❤❤so much fun to watch them....😊😊😊😊😊😊
I'm so glad you found them a new home. Pigs can turn mean and with your kids that could be bad.
Steph, ya'll did the right thing!! I am happy Marie took them, she has an awesome farm also!! Not all pigs are meant to be friendly.. No matter what breed. I hope Bray's finger is ok!! Jerry must be a happy camper with his new lady friend...God Bless
It is sad about Wilbur and Ernie, but it is best to be safe. You have cute babies all over the place. 😊💕
So sad to hear about the baby 🐐 lose to the pigs the new 🐐 are cute Dixie's puppies are adorable so glad that Marie and Fefe could help with taking the pigs hopefully Jerry will fall in love with the hen 🦃 👍
I playing catch up on all the vligs I haven't seen...

Love your videos and enjoy watching them. May the lord bless and protect you and your family. The lord will guide you and Stephanie and be at your side always
It's known for pigs to eat young goats and other small animals. They say pigs eat anything, so you are right.
