  • I traded the Keltec KSG for this Chiappa Rhino over the weekend, and I didn't really know what to expect. It is a really cool gun! Excellent construction and easy to shoot. Needless to say, it is a keeper!! Thanks for watching, Cody

My EDC, people really have no idea how great of a shooter these guns are.
    Very little recoil.

Loved the video! For what it's worth, "Chiappa" is pronounced with a K sound. Kee-ah-pah. Highly recommend the Rhino line. By far the most comfortable .357 on the market.

My surname as a Chi in it and every US guy always mistakens it 😅

Took my 50DS out for the first time today; I used .357mag that they sell at the range and quite a few of them were punchy but shooting .38spl would probably make it feel like a .22LR. It's certainly different and glad I was able to get one.

Nice! They’re really awesome guns! I’m glad you were able to get one too 👍 Thanks for watching!

357 is too hot for a 2 inch barrel. The bullet will skid on the rifling and not get a spin, sometimes you'll even see a key hole in your target. So you're right you need to test your ammo first to be sure it will work with a snub nose. I never had the problem with 38spl.

10 yards is pretty far for any 2" barrel handgun

I'm a huge fan of this bottom cylinder design. I'm really hoping another company can make a model in a more economic price range. Still, I'm looking to pick up a Rhino in the future.

I'm still waiting for my .40 sw 4 inch rhino here at Turners Outdoors.....been almost 2 years and they said the factory has not delivered yet.......it is going to be a safe queen now.....will not risk it being taken away here in California if used in a self defense situation

Good Video, I have the 200 DS and the 30 DS, love both of them, and carry both ( not at the same time).

I'm a traditionalist, I'd go for the S&W, even though I'm a Ruger fan. The Italian gun just looks to 'strange' for comfort. However, I'm sure the Chiappa is an effective piece and in a situation where that's what what you have, live with it!

thats super low recoil for short barreled .357, i love chiappa rhino

Just picked up a 200DS. Amazing how little recoil there is from 357 Mag lads in a 2" barrel. Don't like the rear sights however. Need dee to cut out the hammer but it doesn't wrk well for me

Good presentation. This was the best Chiappa range review I've seen yet.

Every single video I have watched on TH-cam and it’s been far more accurate in double action than single action.
That doesn’t make sense to me. But this is one of the few revolvers that I’ve seen this with

Both guns looks friggin awesome. I’m torn. I held the 327 the other day and it felt perfect. I wonder what holding the rhino would feel like. I have a 686 2.5&627 4. I love them both. They are heavy though.

Do you think ammo and trigger caused the shot placement to be alittle more erratic ?

    • @cody_rightnow6137
      @cody_rightnow6137  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

It was my first time shooting the gun seriously, and I think the 2 inch barrel is what was throwing them all over 😂 though it could just as easily be shooter error, think I just need some more practice! Thanks for watching

@@cody_rightnow6137 definitely understand, just got a 2inch with the 9mm and 38-357 cylinder and I have a 5 inch which is a tact driver. Look forward to seeing more videos with the rhino.

    • @bombomos

Plus from what I hear the rhino has a heavy double action so it's gonna effect your aim if you haven't trained with it

@@cody_rightnow6137 I definitely agree! I shot a .38 snub for the first time and I noticed at 20 yards I had to aim Low to hit high, it was the weirdest thing. And I’ve shot 6 inche revolvers that have great accuracy, definitely a barrel/velocity thing
