Brian, I started in Skyhawks and Piper Warriors. All planes are good as long as they are maintained well. They all have their place for various missions.

Don I can’t tell you enough how much I love your channel, I came here for aviation but I’ve watched some of your real estate vids as well and I’ve been very inspired as I have always wanted to obtain my real estate license as a side business for years and I feel the market is hot enough in recent years where now is the time and your vids have given me a nudge in making that decision!
Nick, real estate can be a great way to make a living. Either residential or commercial. The barrier to entry is low as you only need to get your sales license. That said, the barrier to true success is high, like any business. Hard, dedicated work and study is the way. It can be done. It is done every day. Life is short, push hard!

Why did your passenger (clearly not a pilot) have his hands on the yoke so much before takeoff ?
Great question. Because the wind was moving the yoke so I asked him to hold it while I did other tasks. Gotta use what assets you have :-)

Thank you for watching. I started with old Piper Warriors for my private and instrument. Then I moved up to a Mooney Ovation (great plane), then a Piper Meridian (another good plane) and now the HondaJet Elite S. I have been really happy with them all, but by far, the HondaJet is the most impressive plane I have personally flown. Don
Dumb question do you ever use the speed brake all the way to roll out for shorter runways?
David, not a dumb question. The speed brake is either out or not from the pilot's control, but the system will modulate how much it is out depending on your speed. I love the speed brake on the HJ and find it highly useful at certain times. I don't typically use it on landing, but should. HJ suggests it and I will start giving it a try. My focus is on speed control (being right on Ref), glideslope and putting the wheels down by the thousand foot marker. Deploying the speed brake thereafter could only help, albeit probably not by much.
