@@matthewvees I think it's hopeful. Isabel realized who she is, she doesn't accept it by the end of the movie, but we're only watching the season 6 premiere, there's clearly more for the characters. And like the chalk probably left by Tara says, there is still time.
i'm scared once this is gone from the theaters it's never going to feel the same. the giant screen showing the perfectly balanced colors & the loud sounds vibrating all around you while you're all watching the film simultaneously, together but separate. the same way owen felt when rewatching the pink opaque as an adult.
@@sparkledumpster that makes me feel better, thank you 😭 someone reuploaded the scene where owen walks through the hallway while starburned & unkissed plays and it did feel the same
oh this made me tear up. seeing this in the theater for the first time was so affecting for this reason -- I wish I could experience it all over again.
I wish this song was given a music video instead of looped clips because it's one of the best songs from the soundtrack 😕 Or even a lyric video in the style of the hallway scene.
My ex boyfriend broke up with me and distance was a driving factor behind his choice. He does have many plans with a girl with makeup now, and my kettle's whistling, and he's not coming home. This song breaks my heart. Caroline's screams and whistles during the chorus hit me in a special way, I love how she sounds like she is trapped and calling for help. Really ties in with the themes of the movie.
It feels like... distilled nostalgia resonating, reverberating in my heart and soul, speaking to me from a time and place I've never been, but that strangely familiar half-memory, half-dream echoes of bittersweet longings say I have.
For me it was one of those movies like Saint Maud where the ending really elevates the rest of the movie. It took it from being a good movie to a great one.
A movie I have conflicted thoughts about. Well made, I cannot say it's bad but... I found it somewhat disappointing. The soundtrack, however, is impressive.
For those who think it was awful, it was very very slow with so much emo non-chalant bs, but I guess it was giving the vibes to the movie. I got really sad thinking about the ending, how disassociating can lead to you breaking down when life passes by and you were focused on one thing and not family. But other than that, it was very slow & nothing much happens.
This movie has tons of elements of horror the Mr melancholy scene with the voice had me like this 0_o the problem I think people are just to use to horrors that they confuse Jump scare trash with actually masterpieces like this movie.
Honestly I loved this movie. I think that if you’re looking for a jumpscare movie then you won’t like this. I don’t usually like psychological horror but this one was amazing.

Both times I saw this in theaters- the hallway scene and the massive vibration you feel when the chorus kicks in during this song cured my depression
I'm glad I'm not the only person to watch this twice 😂
You aren't alone. This movie was a cathartic experience for me.

Great movie. It's been a while since a movie left such a huge impression on me.
That’s a bot comment.
There was legit nothing deep about this movie. It was terrible.

this song sound so familar dude i swear i've heard it somewhere else
This song should only be played as loud as possible. At least for the choruses.
The song should be much bigger.
I'll bite.... I like this strange soundtrack...

the way these visuals are stitched together is so not indicative of the movie. In a fun way. None of these moments are cute in context
