Agree! Addiction to music is much healthier than any substance we use to numb ourselves! We must feel! My poison ☠️ was H (nothing but ⬇️wards from there)... until I made drastic changes after too many yrs passed by! Clean and sober is great but also takes commitment and you have to be ready to feel it all! We are stronger for it! 💪🏽
Ikr right I'm on my 8th day of binge drinking and I cant stop. It's been this way for two years now and I've drained all my assets because of it... cant see myself quitting even though it hurts everything in my life.

I got to the point of not wanting to be alive, then I just asked myself if I’m willing to die coz I’m so unhappy why can’t I just try and get sober, and that was it. All the best x

Pink is honestly so sweet and humble in person. Her and Carey Hart came into the restaurant I worked at a few years ago, she was doing a show in my town that night. It was just her and Carey that came in, no security team or entourage, it was just them. They sat and it took me a minute to realize it was her. I politely asked are you Pink? She smiled and said yes. Her and Carey where hands down the best celebrity interaction ever. Both very nice and down to earth. They asked me about my day, what I was going to school for. And they tipped real nice. Shes such an angel.

Learning English is way more easy than learning any other language. It's everywhere. My mother language is a small one. 10 million people speak it, so websites like youtube,facebok didn't make a version for us :D okay they did... but only a few years ago. So I had to use the english version since I used the internet, and it helped a lot.
The series I watch are 90% american. Not to mention the videogames :D
So it was easy. But I started to learn german, 2 years ago and.... it isn't easy at all :D

+Kegyetleneper i know that feeling all too well. Honestly im a bit surprised when people cant speak english. In the age we live it its borderline mandatory. I'm croatian and my enlglish is almost better than my croatian. I learned a lot just from watching cartoon network a lot as a kid. Back then i could watch without knowing what they are saying and still have fun. Eventually things just started poping into place and everything came naturally. So now with next to no effort im so good at it that my friends from the uk say its difficult to tell im not a native speaker. currently I'm speaking 3 languages and am in the process of learning korean and im still just 18. If there is a will , there is a way. Learning a new language can be frustrating and challenging but stick to it and you will prevail. Hmmm got a bit theatrical there....sorry XD. On a side note i find it interesting that humans are the only creature on this planet that cant even comunicate with their own kind haha. Oh and dont forget to use the language often otherwise you'd be surprised how quickly you will forget half of it.

I was so ashamed for a long time because I was an addict. This song, well, it’s like a NA meeting, but one that I actually liked. “The day we see our weaknesses as our greatest strength is the day we will know peace. So that shame is now replaced by pride. That i recovered from the hardest test of my life. While I was in detox I saw someone who’s name was patient-cakes who wrote on the wall trip number 85. At the time I thought what a waste of skin. Now, I see the truth. That even after that many times she was STILL trying! To those that are clean and to those that still struggle, you have a strength that few can even imagine. And fewer still that would appreciate that strength. You’re all awesome.

So many people (myself included) can relate to her lyrics and I think that we all have our own personal demons that we have to battle against and try to get through. This song is a big part of why I quit drinking. I was a big binge drinker and would inevitably end up sobbing, begging to die because I hated myself. It’s been 10 years and this song still hits hard and reminds me why I gave it up and can never go back.

Pretty amazing how some songs CAN change one's life in terms of just eliminating the worst parts of ourselves. For me it was Shinedown - Sound of Madness. Might have not bene about alcoholism but the lyrics had parallels.
Anyway as a part-time alcoholic I don't believe anyone trully ends it. It's a continuous fight of resistance. Most people won't know or understand how much energy it can take to say "NO" sometimes so you have my deepest respect.
@@firebat128 There can be many triggers. Even a smell can trigger memories or feelings which are or lead to associated alcohol fuel activities. There is no one single cure for everyone. Keeping yourself distracted with tasks such as gardening, workout, looking after a pet and ESPECIALLY cooking etc helps TONNES! But ofc you can't do those things all day. It's important to know you have a problem and not try to hide it, as hard as that is for fear of social rejection. It's going to be a long process. There is never a quick fix when it comes to habitual psychological tendencies. Just throw yourself into something new wether that be an art class, going to a comedy club or even just singing at home. Focus on the things which lift you up.
That line "I'm just tryna find a friend" hits home, a lot of people like me, we get into alcohol just because we thought alcohol was the way to get that somebody we want but at the end, alcohol is just separating us from ourselves and we are that friend that we need.

This and the song Turn the page are my 2 favorite relapse songs. I was clean for 2 years this past time and relapsed for 6 weeks. Just thankful I didn’t lose anything that time. I’ve battled shooting meth for 12 years. Seems like I can make it a couple years and the weight is to much. I didn’t shoot it this time tho thank the Lord. The biggest thing I’ve learned on the way is, relapse is part of recovery. Every time you relapse, you learn what you can’t do and be sober. To anyone out there fighting, keep it up. I know it’s a silent fight everyone else forgets your fighting. It’s the shit the pain brings back, don’t give up. Figure out a system that works for you.🤘

Finally admitted to myself i have a serious problem with alcohol and im currently right at the beginning of my journey to self control and sobriety. Im 23y. I have had 11-12 years problems with drugs. I found this when i were teenager, hurt so much i cried everytime. I found this now again when i have been sober 7months. 10 years ago my daughter was born and I haven't had a drop of alcohol since. If you're struggling just know you are stronger then you even realize and you CAN do anything you put your mind to. Never give up and stay strong!! 💪
