    Listen, Christ - back in the days before you and I were accustomed to one another
    I spent most of my early days following other brothers
    Spent countless years sucking up to the cultures
    Wanting to be the best in the game while rocking all of their colours
    But something changed on the spot once I was cornered
    When I was told to give up when things got tough for me to muster
    That was when my sibling was having a ruckus with my mother
    She got called a psychopath, and of course, that had her bothered
    That’s when I turned to You
    I needed help from the Lord more than ever, my heart and spirit burned for You
    I didn’t know who on Earth I could turn to
    but I knew that there was someone in Heaven I could give my urges to
    And so that night, I closed my eyes and spoke firm to You
    Within a moment, I felt a change that was uninterpretable
    I slowly began to walk like turtles do
    and picked the pace up gradually even though it hurt to move
    I watched videos by preachers dispersed on the Tube
    and something opened me up like drawn-back curtains in rooms
    I began to see a whole new light, certainly true
    Just when the universe was cruel, You removed the dirt from the wounds
    Helped me get myself together like churches and schools
    Helped me pray to You more, and turn my words into jewels
    A few years later, my grief turned into good
    All because I kept it real, and learned worth from Your Truth
    Stuck a finger at the gangs, and threw curds at the crews
    Told them to walk away from me ‘cause I found a purpose that’s new
    Now I’m smoking Bible paper being purged with Your dew
    Walking on grass, my toes merging with the earth as it blooms
    My mother knows my struggle, and she really hates it
    When I feed her the Lord’s wisdom, she appreciates it
    And she doesn’t even read the pages
    But she knows deep down inside something gets us through the bleakest ages
    I only just wish the rest of the team embrace this
    My niece understands the faith, and even she displays it
    It’s vital I don’t feel weak and faithless
    and just hold on to the promise that will keep me waging

    Not all of em are produced by RZA. RZA co-produced this beat w/ 4th Disciple. RZA gets too much credit 4 the sound of Wu.

    • @hous2tim964
      @hous2tim964 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But he produced entirely Enter the Wu, Only Built 4 cuban linx and Liquid Swords... As Dj Goldfingaz said none of the wu elements could fuck with the RZA.

    • @tarheelred
      @tarheelred 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@hous2tim964 *_We agree to disagree. The Wu classics have the Wu-Element stamp upon them, as well as RZA’s. RZA is only one man. He couldn’t do all of the producing by himself._*
      *_And going by the many lawsuits that he has had from fellow Wu-Tang members & producers, he may have had his hands in too many places, stretching himself too thin. I’ll stop short of calling him dishonest. I don’t have both or all sides of the disputes that they have with him._*

    • @hous2tim964
      @hous2tim964 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tarheelred Why every wu general wanted RZA to produce their albums ? The wu elements were good but could not fuck with the RZA because he is a genius like Dj Premier. Every producer has his unique musical style. All theses albums are "pure RZA shit". The way he played with samples and snares is unique. I have listened carefully to all their beats. "Brooklyn zoo" is pure True Master as was "Fish" from Ghostface's Ironman. Silent Weapons 4 quiet wars is pure 4th disciple. Mathematics beats are powerful. Why do U think RZA couldn't do all the producing by himself ? When an gifted artist is at his prime and he is focused he can do incredible thinks. Master Killer wants RZA to produce the last wu album. He said that if RZA could focus he could produce dope shit. When RZA produced all this classics he was on a mission. Raekwon and others said that RZA lost hundreds of beats in floods. Do U think they lied ? I am a french speaking person, I lost tons of texts. When I am inspired and focused I could write tons of dope texts in a day. When I am inspired it's my brain is like a volcano.

      @tarheelred 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hous2tim964 *_Nope, don’t think they’re lying about beats lost in flood. What we have in the case of the Wu-Element producers is the pupils of the teacher have risen to the skill of the teacher. I didn’t say these guys were BETTER than RZA. They are on the same level playing field however._*
      *_Again, we can agree to disagree. I’m not saying you’re wrong: I’m just opining that I don’t believe you in your assertion of RZA being some sort of ‘grandmaster’ of a producer who can’t be equaled. That’s all._*

      @@tarheelred I think there is a hierarchy. There are master producers like Dre, Premier, Rza, J Dilla and some others. These dudes are gifted and they produced lot of gems. True Master, 4th disciple and Mathematics are very good producers but none of them could produce songs like "Reunited", "Rainy days", "Samurai Showdown", "flying birds", "Gold" or an album that can match "Liquid Swords", "Enter the wu", "Return to 36 chambers" or "OBCL". His science of beats in the 90s is unmatched. According to me they lack something to be member of the cast of top notch producers Rza belongs to. These are my views and I respect yours.

    om.... the drums loop is the sample in the instrumental arrangement.:between the instrumental or the instrumental sampled. In my study of artistry, my question is, how was that arranged beginning to ending.

      It's just a one shot kick snare and hi hat.The sample is chopped up a bit and manipulated to fit the tempo and loop.The drums are played one by one just simple one shots.

    Earth a eerie rock, can you hear me God
    Fear be dropped and to tell you the truth I'm feeling weary, stop
    Asking for favors you never gonna repay
    I got product on the line like its eBay
    This shit a relay, we pay, respect to no individual figure
    This ain't the typical jitter, if your rhymes ain't double syllable skitter
    No reason for my dementia I've been cat scanned twice
    And somebody gonna get knocked out like a Pac Man fight
    This bitch I'll have to cover his face after I scar him like an Afghan wife
    Took a endless fall thinking that I had scammed life
    Learn the hard way
    They'll be looking for evidence on your larvae
    This is carnage, true rap artist
    You niggas dangling on the harness
    Lil Ze mathematic and logical
    And to be this emphatic it's optional
