Each month we’ll count down the 20 most watched videos on the official Eurovision Song Contest TH-cam channel. The chart will include official music videos, national final/live/preview performances and, of course, Eurovision Song Contest performances (combining Grand Final, Semi-Final and Winners Performances; consistent with our chart counts from previous years), and taking a slightly longer look at the new entries and climbers.
Data is compiled using the official Eurovision Song Contest TH-cam channel views from the calendar month just gone, and we’re taking January 2020 as the starting point for our charts.
Unless we’re avoiding national finals or important announcements (or we're in the middle of a Eurovision Song Contest), the Eurovision Top 20 Most Watched will premiere on the first Thursday of each month at 20:00 CET.

Not even surprised that four out of the Big Five are in this top 20, they really brought us quality this year and we didn't give them enough support. Mad respect for Germany
I’m so happy Germany gets the appreciation it’s just a fact proved here they got robbed for no reason the juries really should respect them more they have definitely good entries sometimes but always get robbed bc of that if juries would give them at least a bit then even a televote like this year wouldn’t hurt them and I think a lot of people would’ve vote for them if they didn’t had like their 5 favs which got insane televotes this year and it’s always like that the 5 strongest gets the most and the others gets forgotten bc people can only vote up to 20 times and they want for their favs bc it’s money in the end of the day but what happened with the televotes was so bad especially Spain, France and Germany and Uk is the of the top 5 I understand why it got so low

True, they were a lot better than their results may suggest, although part of these views are coming from people, who wanted to see their whole semi final performance, while they've already seen the full performances of all semi finalists and therfore didn't click on their videos, unless they've missed something.
At least Germany got some respect here 💔

@@Tylantia I posted this already before the video came out. The channel can actually set a premiere date before the video itself comes out. In the time between the announcement of the date and time and the actually video you don't see the full video when you click on the thumbnail. You see nothing or just a trailer. You can already comment and this will be seen even after the video is out.

When I look up the clicking numbers on YT I see there more on Cha Cha Cha than on Tattoo (talking about the GF perfomances and this was already the case in the end of may). The only way it is possible that there are more clicks on Tattoo is when you count the "normal" GF and the winners performance together. I think it is okay doing this here but please communicate this more clearly in such videos.

Had you taken a few seconds to check the description, you would have known that they actually combined the SEMI-FINAL, FINAL and WINNER'S REPRISE videos (they're all under the category "Eurovision song contest performances", the other 2 categories being "official music videos" and "national/final/live/preview performances").

She's a great singer. There were many great singers this year. Had Loreen not been there, I think the jury results would've been completely different.

Is there some mistake here? Israel is in 2 different positions (17 and 3), Sweden is also in 2 different ones (9 and 1) as well as Finland (7 and 2). Poland being 4th after all the negativity is a huge joke.

Per the description of the video they combined Final,Semi-Final and Winners performance views together. So seems the list is correct by those rules. Was it always like this or just this year? :)

Only GB of the big 5 did not make it. All other countries with a population above 30 million are in the charts, good to see they are interested in their own country's entry. This year had the best entries, even songs that missed the final would any other year place in midfield.

You just can't vote for your own country, but still watch. I still think everyone this year did great and didn't deserve to be in the bottom of the ranking.
If all countries place you as their 13th, you will get zero points. I think that is pretty much what happened to LotL.

@@olenaolena9073 definitely. The outfits while not extremely crazy, fit the staging and song amazingly. (Bonus points for having the same sunglasses as me😏). Even the small movements were done so smoothly, everything was great. Sometimes it reminded me of måns in 2015 with his creativity in staging, even though they were very different, they were both really creative and perfect for the Eurovision stage 😍

I didn't watch ESC since jury-only times (yes, I'm that old), came back this year to see if having televotes made it better.
Turned out it's still jury-only time, with an extra: you can pay for the illusion of voting.
So if rules won't change, then I'll live happily without ESC in the next years.
Interesting. Käärijä's views are higher but I guess that was since start of June
He surpassed Tattoo in views on 27th of May, so he should be the first, but this year they decided to combine views from other videos, which is not a fair count since Tattoo has the extra "winner's performance"

And EBU conveniently found a new way of counting to prove Sweden's supremacy: in the May 2022 video it was the semi-final and grand-final views added, but this year it's semi-final + grand-final + winner's performance. Which is quite unfair towards everyone else who doesn't have a 3rd winner's video, but only 2.
But that's EBU for you and their ways. 🤷♂
My favourites this year we're Norway, France and Ofc Austria POE POE POE POE no but the standard of songs this year was really high I loved the majority of them, such an enjoyable esc season
