Ella's nature, thousands of shades of green and mystical atmosphere fascinated us.
Of course, one of the first things that comes to mind when you think of Ella is the famous train journey. We take a close look behind the scenes of those popular photos you often see on Instagram with people hanging from the train. The journey by train is truly breathtaking, but the actual experience can be a little different from what is shared on social media. As I try to capture these sights and the excitement of the journey on camera, I also reveal how risky it can be to hang out of the train window.
In my video, besides this famous train journey, we visit the city centre of Ella and discover the local life and street food. With its nature, people and culture, Ella is one of the indispensable stops in Sri Lanka.
