I clicked on the vid thinking it was a review for the WCSK, then noticed it wasn't but kept watching because of the fine knife skills you put on display, that is some crazy feather sticking.
This one is nicer, but the serrated edge gets smaller (not very demanding) jobs done quicker because it can be used as a small saw for those jobs. In the end, and axe and a small handy knife are way better combination. But I would still want to try one of these :-)
Did you grind off that ridiculous jimping on the spine? It looks much better and functional without it and the point clipped/ground instead. Nice mods, and I love that coating stripped as well.
This knife is a very versatile tool. I wanted to add a bit to it, cutting and pounding tent stakes and such, but didn't want it too long. The quarter round for making curls is a very important feature of this knife. One can get a lot of fire starting material quickly.
@@chattanoogabushcraft2617 I carry a custom Scar Blades PapaBear so i know exactly what they can do, take care of it as long as u have it bro and 👍 nice vid!
This knive is not worth purchasing. If left unused in your shop or wherever for a month they rust so bad so bad and deep in the steel they can’t be repaired. Keep them oiled at all times Tks dg580

Awesome kindling skills very precise on your talents, not many woodsmen can operate such a lovely tool.
I love the tracker blade. I only have the tops t1
Excellent I love the way you do this.
Never been a fan of the tracker but I like this version better than the TOPS one cuz does'nt have serrated edges on top...

VortexQA IMO never been a fan of knives with serrated spine... useless...
@Barone B, I got to agree.

Quite a beast, but with such versatility from the various edges, especially that nice pull technique for feather sticks.

Nice blade man....love the quality of it.....I’ve always been a fan of the type of tracker knife like the one from the movie ...The Hunted
I'm on the waiting list, should be this summer! Though it's been a long wait, lol, thanks for sharing!
Maybe a silly question. But what is that lanyard material you have? Great vid one of my favorites.
Thank you for watching. The lanyard material is handmade cordage, from Poplar Bark.
@@chattanoogabushcraft2617 thank you
Been on the list for 19 or so months, cant wait!
It's worth the wait and every penny
Not worth 2000$ for a knife
@@ethanjohns3807 not for this one. You're paying for the name
What type of oil are you using?
This little bottle I'm using is Militec, which is a gun oil.
@@chattanoogabushcraft2617 Thanks

Chattanooga Bushcraft I apreciate that, enjoy that Blade and take care
I want that knife so baddd
Anyone who has this knife should grind off that secondary edge and feel like you have a completely new knife.

Knives should not be stored in their leather sheaths and should be oiled and checked regularly.
