Once the speed is reached to mach 1 there seems to be some problem with audio for 1 or 2 seconds. But if you really think about it you will realise it is because the sound from the rocket engine could not make it to mic as rocket was travelling above speed of sound. Fascinating
But if you really really think about it you realize there is a bow shock that forms ahead of the camera and the flow after the shock, around the camera, is then subsonic albeit at a higher density. It’s a common misconception that doesn’t account for the formation of a shockwave.
@@brandonb6164Not only that, the speed of sound within solid materials is usually much higher than gaseous atmosphere.
@@jamielonsdale3018 Yep. And since the rocket engine is not moving in the reference frame of the camera, any vibrations from the engine that are transmitted through the rocket occur exactly as if it’s stationary on the ground.
2.5 Kilometres is still pretty high up.
@@mindfreak5360at that height the earth would look nearly perfectly flat. This planet is so big that you need to be way out to see its shape. 360 cameras like to turn everything into a sphere. That’s how he got this look.
Second stage hit over Mach 1. Very nice!
Flat Earth left the chat
No still here it was actually disappointing he had to use a fish eye to force a ball affect😢😅😂
For anyone wondering speed I did some calculations. It’s top speed is ~400ms or about 900mph for all the Americans. Yes that is faster than your Honda civic.
What i don’t understand is why the sudden boost mid launch?? It went 1.2 mach after a fews seconds going at .3 mach
@@RBZ06LT6 the first stage had a much much lower thrust to weight ratio meaning it accelerated slower. When the first stage was dropped there was a decrease in weight and the second stage engine may have been more powerful. Also the altitude make it easier to accelerate.
That’s not a rocket, that’s a blue M&M on a mission
@@Mrhatter789The editing software left a shape like a blue mn'm when it went up
This brings back so many memories. I went to a school endorsed by NASA, so each year we studied a new form of propulsion, and finished the year with a project to build a functioning rocket, with a large blast-off event with the whole school. The last year there we designed and built our own model rockets using the standard hobbie engines, such good times. Once I left that school, I realized not many schools do things like that. I'm very grateful for the knowledge and experience it gave me. Priceless.
that 2nd stage was sick💪🏼👌🏻
i love how you can hear when it breaks the sound barrier
One of my favourite videos because you can hear physics in action.
Camera picks up the supersonic wind, but can't pick up the sound of the rocket motor because the sound from the motor cannot reach the camera due to being supersonic.
Send a picture of rocket before launch. I'd like to see camera positioning. Thanks!
@@dylangonzalez1121 I don't think so. That would definitely cause instability in the launch, and it would never reach that altitude.
Bro he should put a little toy astronaut in it next time that would be great to see😂
Excellent viewpoint, first 360 launce I've seen. Excellent way to show the whole rocket after chute ejection!
What's crazy is that it would have only made it 1/3 the way up Mt Everest.
@@grandpa7278 sorry man, during your surgery your surgeon had put your brain on your ass site! Please go back to him at the hospital and fix the issue!
Thankyou.
THAT IS SO FRIGGIN COOL!!!!! My dad and I used to do water rockets with 2-liter bottles and an air pump!!!! We were only able to go about 100 ft or so. I never get tired of seeing this!!!
Very cool how you capture that shot I couldn’t figure out where the hell the camera was!🤣
Don't show this video to flat earthers, in here the sky is round
What does the sky being round have to do with a flat earth?
Also, the earth is not flat.
The earth is not round.
Glue the bottoms of 2 identical snow globes together.
Now imagine you lived on 1 of them with 7.4999999 billion others.
And one day scientists on your side launched a rocket upwards and went thru the glass and seen a land above and an identical land below.
Imagine you was on that rocket.
No camera tho.
What would you tell the scientists and in turn, what would those scientists tell EE.
Um yeah it's the effect from a fish eye lens. But theres so much better proofs that earth is "geoid" shaped
@@iamrobot396
I believe(opinion) that our Earth is wayyyyyy bigger than we are told.
Earth is indeed flat as mentioned in the holy Quran. It is round like a coin, and this is 360 degree camera therefore it's looking weird. Don't fall for American CGI. Qur'an cannot be wrong. You are those muslims who haven't read Qur'an properly and speak anything to look cool
Nice! Amazing that the assembly survived supersonic speeds. Planning to make video how you mounted it?
@@sashoksu1 Isn't there Mach number mentioned on top left corner of the video?
IDK, the world looks pretty round from up there with the 360 cam!
Kudos for successfully stabilizing the camera's perspective.
Incredible shot. Very cool!
That's pretty amazing. I love that you can see the whole world
Definitely is flat. Just like square wheels work better than round ones. But seriously tho, how many people do you think actually think that it's you can see the whole thing?
Good job on building it
Beautiful, and also very impressed by the strength of the camera
I love the part when it broke the speed of sound as it went momentarily quiet
May be the coolest thing I've ever seen!! So fast ...the power!! Which fuel in this one?
@BPS.SHORTS: This was the coolest perspective I've ever seen of a rocket! Great idea and video!!!!I rarely think to give thumbs up on videos but I did here!
That was some awesome footage
Great camera angle and shots. Great job. Looks fun.
Wooow that second stage has some insane acceleration
Mach 0.2 is 68m/s
Mach 1 is 340m/s
It accelerated to Mach one in just over half a second, putting the acceleration of the rocket at a ridiculous *388m/s^2.*
What was the camera attached to? Because I noticed that when the parachute deployed on the rocket, the camera was viewing it all, and there was no tether from the camera to the rocket.
Bhi ek camera aata hai uska naam 360 hai , but you you will see it's footage , it becomes invisible
Muy bueno! Cómo le hiciste para estabilizar la cámara?
Can we talk about that sick descent shot tho?!? 🔥🔥🔥
What an AMAZING VIEW! I'd love to see how that looked as a setup on the nosecone.
Thats maybe the solution to your spinning problem, eventhough it takes some post production
Did it break the sound Barrier ?
Yes but they don't create a sonic boom you can hear as it eminates outward..... I.e you would have to be in a plane parallel with it to hear it, not on the ground.
That's the coolest flying football ever.
How did you recovered footage.
One of the best videos on youtube
Right on! So was the camera attached to some kind of mast beyond the nose cone? Looks like it had its own parachute though...Very cool!
I love how once the rocket goes above mach 1 you can noticeably hear the difference in sound as it gets quieter before loosing speed after the second stage goes.

Its called fish eye effect , and yes earth is flat , now go and study kid
@@heartlesscreation4753 Tanatani Lindu tere samaj ke bahar hai , ja Gobar kha Tera time ho Gaya hai 😂🤣
I'm wondering how they kept the camera from spinning, and how it is attached. Very nice video.
It's a 360⁰ camera. It allows for a stable shot no matter how much the camera spins.
I wonder about the side view of the landing, usually 360 cameras only of a view in every direction from the center of the physical camera and edit out the stick that holds the camera . But this clip had a seemingly impossible camera location .
The sudden chaos of chute deploy is hilarious
Great footage don’t understand how it was attached but what the hell it’s still great
Were you able to detect an audible shock wave when it broke through the sound barrier? I would like to see the camera lots of videos are using this but never show what the camera looks like thanks !
I had a 3 engine rocket when I was 12, with a clear payload compartment so we stuffed a mouse in it and launched it.....nerver saw that rocket again. Payload failure
Ok so I think this is the coolest thing I’ve seen done with a 360 camera
Coolest thing I've ever seen about model rocketry
That's me after 2 power joint 🍁
They should make this mandatory for all members of the Flat Earth Society to view.
I'm no flat earther but you can't see the curvature from this low, it was a fisheye lens as you can see in the later part of the video where the camera points to a slightly upward angle and the earth suddenly looks concave.
Flat earth people left the chat
The curvature you see is not because the earth is round but because of the type of camera. You can't see earth like that from just 2.5 km above the surface
How do they prevent the spinning effect?! Is that software mediated?
How does the go pro camera or camera cancel out the pole to make it look 360?
The balloon 5 year old me got at Party City 3.7 seconds after leaving the store
Absolutely amazing!
That camera view is sick. You can see the curve on the earth
And the camera shooting the entire launch 😂😂 passing the rocket 🚀🎬📽️😂
All the way ,, hypersonic camera 📸🍆
What's most visible here is not the curvature of the Earth, but the visual distortion due to the wide-angle lens.
It's proof that we live in a hyperbolic world, nevermind the flathearthers and the pearousdinosaurousflatshapedearth.
Love that just for a second, the sound cuts out because the rocket went supersonic

Omg whatsupp with your voice ?? I am so addicted to hearing again n again.
That second going supersonic was kinda lit ngl
What an amazing shot
This camera is more stable than my life
I did not understand how the video recording process was done, so where did you put the camera?????
Awesome bro. Acting against gravity It hit mach 1+ at mid way before fuel started to run out. It is nothing like mach one on horizontal direction.
I believe it traveled last 20-25% distance purely by momentum.
Great preparation. It is courageous to launch your 360 camera when you are not sure what you will get out of this. ..
Great
Cameras + computers = coolest shiiit
best footage and launch yet
Even from that altitude, you can see how the Earth is round, and then suddenly it became flat. The debate rages on…

aren't we all going to acknowledge that the 2nd stage went super sonic
I was looking for the same thing. That was a surprise compared to initial launch
Same
No. You acknowledged it, so now nobody else needs to.
The telemetry was pretty clearly all messed up. Altitude was jumping by several hundred meters and back.
@@brandonl8039And yet you can _hear_ the rocket go supersonic. Think about what supersonic means, and explain why the sound of the rocket motor all but cuts out as the telemetry alleges it to be supersonic after a few seconds of hard thinking.
