@@rheaanne1858 start with sansevieria,money plant and elephant's ear. Later go for Arica palm,peace lily. Sansevieria has many varieties . All are strong.

Philodendron is not the same as elephant ears. Elephant ears is another species named alocasia or calocasia
There is a huge variety of philodendrons. Since their shape is similar to elephants ear, they all have been given this name.
