Definition :- Colloidal system or colloidal dispersion is a heterogeneous system which is made up of Dispersed phase and Dispersion medium. In colloidal dispersion one substance is dispersed as very fine particles in another substance called dispersion medium.
Properties of a colloid
• A colloid is a heterogeneous mixture.
• The size of particles of a colloid is too small to be individually seen by naked eyes.
• Colloids are big enough to scatter a beam of light passing through it and make its path visible.
• They do not settle down when left undisturbed, that is, a colloid is quite stable.
• They cannot be separated from the mixture by the process of filtration. But, a special technique of separation known as centrifugation can be used to separate the colloidal particles.

In an Electrochemical cell the anode caries positive charge 🤔
Note: anode carries negative charge (you've written mistakenly positive charge)

Anode has negative charge and cathode has positive......you explained wrong electrophoresis

@@arsenic3673no alag books main alag hai but if you would check proper explanations then anode always has negative charge and in electrophoresis particle with positive charge goes towards the anode cause it contains negative charge (negative binds with positive)
