I probably did know that, just couldn't remember on the spot 😅
After I recorded this, a few other people have also made tutorials for the Bencisco method, so give those a watch as well!
Chris Choi also made a beginners' tutorial: th-cam.com/video/6JT2tU00ccs/w-d-xo.html
and Ryan Hudgens made a tutorial for experienced cubers trying out FTO for the first time: th-cam.com/video/hngDRJ9Hh5k/w-d-xo.html
Thanks, that was very helpful for an FTO beginner like me. What a fun puzzle to learn.
@@curiousNic glad it's helpful! If you have any questions, feel free to leave another comment! Cheers
I've had the LanLan one for years, and have solved it on my own before, but never tried speedsolving it. But I recently picked up the DianSheng and just a few minutes ago I thought, "I'd like to learn a good speedsolving method, let me check youtube" and one of the first videos in my feed was this one! 😅
@@LukeLane1984 excellent I'm glad! Hope it helps, and good luck with your FTO speedsolving journey!
@@EddtheRexManThanks!
Great video thank you. I really want to make this my main event
@@SSSpindal good luck, let's make it so! 🫡
8:16 Instead of moving the red to the right side first you can just do Rw' U' R' to pair the second triangle up. No need to move the red out of the way without solving anything else in the meantime. For the second triangle of the second triple the same concept can also be used to save some moves.
Good spot! To be honest I avoid F moves during F2T because the regrip is bigger than it would be for executing multiple R moves in a row. I think it's somewhat down to preference. 👍
@@EddtheRexMan I've edited my comment because I also noticed that other purple. You can do it with pure RU gen with the other triangle
@@Meow_dasKatze Oh I see now, neat!
There's tons of ways to build triples, always good to learn more, thanks!
@@EddtheRexMan No problem ^^ found that during my daily slow solves I currently do. (btw I'm the same meow that was recently on your stream)
@@Meow_dasKatze I guessed it was you, yeah 😅
And like I said in the video (like I say time and time again): slow solves are soooo helpful
Good video yo
@@abhijeetghodgaonkar thanks! Hope it's helpful!
Great ❤
@@AllomantiCuber cheers! Hopefully there's some useful info in there for you!
2 look tcp is "newish"? Lol
@@ChrisChoi123 I think we're closer to 2-look TCP today than 2-look TCP is to when I first learned Bencisco 😅
@@ChrisChoi123 I'm so old, in fto terms, that I think full TCP is new 💀
