      @Broruben Mont
      Hello Broruben Mont...
I must say straight away...not only are you confused...but you have me confused also!
I think to begin, we must establish the first fact, that our dear Lord left us with a church...not a bible...and that in no way takes away from the importance of Holy Scripture!
Jesus setup His church...not churches. He setup the magisterium with bishops and priests. He knew there would be difficulty with your brother...and when this happens we should speak with charity..and when we can't resolve it..we are to take it to "the church"...the one that He gave all authority to...which was Peter. He gave him the keys to the kingdom and the authority to bind and loose. You have to understand the old testament..to understand these teachings.
You also have to understand that nowhere in the bible does it tell you, that you should look to it for all teaching.
We have Holy Tradition...which is the teaching from Jesus..handed down to the apostles..that was handed down to us...and if you read the early church fathers..like Ignatius of Antioch..you will see that the Eucharist and mass were celebrated from the very beginning..and the belief that our Lord was truly present in the Eucharist..Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity!
The Catholic canon was set at the council of Rome in 382. The Catholic church had all authority to decide which books would make up this canon.
If you want proof that the Catholic church is the one true church...just look at how long it has existed...2000 years..straight back to Jesus...and can document every Pope since. It is the longest existing establishment in the history of the world. Jesus gave us the promise that the gates of Hell would never prevail against Her..and that the Holy Spirit would guide Her till He returned! If it was left up to man..it would have fallen long ago!
My suggestion to you..find a good teacher..learn what and why "the church" teaches what she does!
I would suggest listening to Catholic Answers..you can call in with your questions..they can answer better then I can!
If you choose to learn on your own..I suggest you start at the very beginning with the church fathers..who were closest to the apostles and the early Christians.
Don't start in the middle somewhere..listening and learning from others that you hope did proper research!
Do your own research...and I promise you..that the story is going to look so much different then the one your following!
My trust is in Jesus...and this is..."His story"...read it for yourself!
      God bless my friend!
      Susan Monteleone
I had to put my name in there..it connects to your youtube name..ha! 💠

70+ yrs ago, I grew up Presbyterian in a neighborhood that was 95+% Catholic. All I knew about Catholics is I was tired of being told as I grew up that I was going to Hell for not being a Catholic. Going through school, including attending a Catholic college, I was invited to Methodist, Baptist, Lutheran, and numerous other Christian churches. Through my adult life, it continued, the invitation to various Christian churches, Bible study groups,, prayer groups. I have attended services at these various churches as well as going on my own to Catholic and Episcopalian services but never has anyone offered to share Christ with me by inviting me to attend or return to a Catholic church.

the mass/eucharist was not even practiced until either the 12th, or 15th century, depending on which historian you believe. the last supper was NOT a catholic mass/eucharist, it was done simply "in remembrance" of Christ.

St Justin Martyr describes the catholic mass to the emperor Antonius Pius in 155ad. Take an early Christian to a catholic mass and even if he doesn't speak the language he will know what is going on. Take him to a protestant service and he'll be lost completely. St Ignatius of Antioch ( disciple of John) writes in 110 ad, on his way to be martyred that the eucharist is the actual body of Christ and decries those who think otherwise.

One of the first masses was Jesus on the Road to Emmaus.
Luke 24: 13 -35. Jesus walks with the disciples and teaches them the Psalms, about the Old and New Testament and the fulfilment of the Law.
      Luke 24: 30-35
30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. 32 They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”
33 They got up and returned at once to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, assembled together 34 and saying, “It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon.” 35 Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was recognized by them when he broke the bread.”
In the Eucharist we recognise Jesus in a supernatural way because that is wad Jesus asked us for do..
He broke bread and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you: do this in remembrance of Me.”Jesus we trust in you🙏

If I had to use a platonic language I'd say that the Old Testament way of performing sacraments is further from the True sacrament than the New Testament way. Jesus taught us how to more perfectly perform the rite by revealing that he himself is the perfect sacrificial victim who can be consumed through the consacrated wafer, as opposed to the consumption of the imperfect victim (the lamb)

Slaying the lamb and eating it before dawn was seen as the actual real payback they were giving God to thank Him for the Exodus, they didn't do it symbolically, they did it truly thinking that it was what God expected from them. They also did sin offerings, which unsymbolically, really, imperfectly atoned for their sins.
