Thank you, you’ve concurred with my radiologist assessment of my MRI. I don’t have myelopathy, though I do have spinal stenosis (and foraminal stenosis, as well as DOCs and disc bulges). Thanks for demonstrating the tests and signs.
Me too….it scares me. I’m 29 with no health issues. But I remember this even happening when I was a kid and continued every once in a blue moon throughout my life. Recently, it’s becoming more frequent. What did your neurologist say?
Thank you, Dr Nabil! I know now where I am with my pain. But what to do if doctors say it is not and live me without help because St Covidius is first, what means - no future life only disability.
I have L-sign now after a bout of shingles. My shingles occurred aittle over two months ago and I did not have a typical case. I got one big rash by my love handle that was very red but never blistered. Then two more milder rashes - one further up on the same side then inside my belly button and around it. My almost my entire body was numb with nerve tightness ( no pain really) L sign started when I was getting a lot better. If I go for a long walk, when I stop...my legs get nerve vibration feeling without bending my head down (to test L-sign) if I do bend my head down, a minor jolt goes to my legs ( never hurts) and sometimes my arms. My shingles rash still has faded in full and this has been One long bout of post herpetic neuralgia. I'm hoping the shingles was the main cause of my L- sign. I will probably go see a neurologist soon but my symptoms are getting better.
@nabil ebraheim I'm not sure if I have it... I'm experiencing no pain or electric shocks, only very delicate tingling or very mild electric-like currents, and only sometimes, when I move my neck down towards my chest. Could it be just due to bad posture, sedentary posture or anxiety (I'm going through an incredibly stressful time/a bout of anxiety disorder and health anxiety). I had this symptom many years ago, and recently (only sometimes and when I intentionally bend my neck) my life got very stressful again and my health anxiety came back. One day I flexed my neck down to check if I had it... and I did. My physiotherapist thinks it's nothing to worry about and that it's caused by a mix of high anxiety, bad posture, lack of exercise and possible the "medical student syndrome" (symptoms started after reading about MS + I'm worried about someone I know who's sick) . What do you think?
