Disclaimer : I agree with the general complaints, Im sorely talking gameplay wise What people fail to acknowledge is that one of the main isssues of this game is its community, 90% of the players still play pre NHL23 hitting fest braindead northsouth crosscrease forcing OR they do the same 2-3 chessy plays every game, refusing to learn buttons let alone new mechanics like holding R1 or RB for a few secs then R stick up for a huge dump or understanding that on D you can crosscheck anybody that posts up in the slot every 2sec as long as you dont move your left stick there is no risk of penalty untill the opponent stops posting up. Or that passing without handling the R joystick is a shotgun pass and that handling the right joystick makes the pass much better and allows to pick a passing lane instead of using the default one thats easy to read or poke. Or that if you sticklift the opponent your stick needs to be on the same side as his and at the right gap distance aka not too close not too far which promotes gap management, when I acknowledged that mechanic, I could then stick lift all game with almost never taking a penalty for it, Im so used to its mechanic that i actively do it to people without the puck, it is not a penalty button. I agree that people that get hit shouldnt get up that quick after big hits but that is a prime example of EA going away from arcade hit fest by drasticly nerfing hitting forcing players to play actual team defense which is great and shows how EA is taking steps towards realism and having a fair counter system, in 25 they said players will stay down longer after big hits especially if they are smaller, smaller players wlll hit less powerfully and biggger players will hit harder, we'll see. Also having the option to either crosscheck or shoulder check is another step towards realism and is very efficient if used at the right moment, for example on D you can use your positioning to box someone out and if you land a good poke or sweep you come in with a crosscheck to then have an easy puck pickup for either you or whoever was supporting you, it sounds hard but its very effective and doesnt take long to master. Almost nobody realizes that there is a good counter system meaning there is a counter to every single thing in the game and that it is actually trying to be more of a simulation in some ways : they actively try to reward east west hockey getting away from the repetitive and boring north south meta, it got away from the hitting meta, now its about positinioning taking runs with the carrier while you have support watching mid to create 2 on 1 pockets on D or offense instead of going for 50-50 defensive plays and run and gun offense(thats why alot of players think the game is bad), it promotes cycling, rebound shots, creativty, stick sweeps, tips, screens, support plays, teamwork, etc. You cant beat good teams if you dont play as team now, otherwise you'll only beat bad teams. If you actually watch hockey a lot youd know more than half of goals scored are garbage goals so even that is realistic to a degree but it is ruined by EAs DDA. That being said, I agree that they should show a unified front and seperate EASHL from Chel instead of taking steps towards a more realistc gameplay but adding arcade stuff like fortnite skins in club and such, making it hard for players who do not understand videogame programming(no shame in that) to see the effort towards realism and the conflict of interest within EA to push arcady stuff and of course heavily interfere with the game with DDA(they adjust tuners during games to compensate for the skill gap more than ever). EASHLshould be full simulation no intereference from EA. For example if youre down 0-2 but you control the game but you have 10x more passes than the other team the DDA will still help the opponents by adjusting tuners, thats why there is alot of cheap goals, if DDA wasnt a thing it would be easier for people to see the steps towards realism that the devs taking. Sorry for the long message but I think its important to stay neutral in this situation. Your complains will hopefully push EA to act so please dont stop. Aslo it should be a new game every 2-3 years, they can sell alot of DLC, skins and packs while updating the game to keep the money flowing and it would prevent them from having less than 9months to work on a new game. Also another thing that was new from this year is that they kept updating the game for months after 24s release which was never done before. I also think the 1 timers will be OP for the first few weeks in 25 so that everybody can score and then they'll nerf it a few weeks later, typical EA thing to do and isnt needed at all. Be A pro not being changed and the new HUT reward system are jokes though. We are paying for 1 big update I know, but this text was about the game itself. I study hockey daily, watch alot of it and am a top player in HUT and EASHL for a long time on top of playing franchise mode alot for more than 20years, I also am good at programming games and understand their mechanics, yes EAs programming is rushed and flawed(ex : hitting someone thats behind you is bad/rushed programmation of the way the hitting animation interects with other players hitboxes, but thats really hard to program, they need years not months for it to be perfect.

I like the scoreboard change but they need to get someone else in to record for the play by play and colour commentary. James' voice is so annoying. Go get John Forslund or Ken Daniels. Someone with a better sounding voice. The whole presentation package needs an upgrade. AI has always sucked in EA games. Atleast if they would charge half price. You know how they keep making all these money, because idiot fans will buy anything. If they would do what total war fans have done and just abandoned the franchise, it would take 6 month and games would ve 30-40 bucks from the start
Oh boyt two topnotch teams facing off
EA needs some serious competition for them to start giving a fuck again. They have been releasing the same game for the last ten years.
hope there is a huge day one patch that adds the good stuff
Oh ok now the maple leafs get a penalty
Why didn't you use the new camera angle?
You should put game slider (Ai) 6/6 cpu difficulty adjustment and 6/6 difficulty thing plus superstar
Yup I do this, feels like an actual challenge
@@notowie7024 ya and goalie reaction 100% and the hole thing I also don't take a team that's OP like the leafs lol makes it more challenging
Is it really easy to know?
Yep about as expected. AI still looks horrible and will be even worse in EASHL. Still no true top end speed with the skaters or acceleration. And the one “skill based” feature they add is broken as hell of course. Good job EA.
Looks like NHL 24 but the players have all been transformed into slenderman and there is a new scoreboard
I saw the same, why they all look so small
@@LUCAS-yb2he Exactly. It makes the jerseys look almost skin tight lmao. It looks so bad
Glow sticks no full presentation looks the exact same as 24.
The goal celebration cutscene is just so off, let us do our own celebration and skate around
It would look decent without that massive shadow you have. You might as well use a beach ball instead of a puck. 😂😂😂💀
EA столько всего рассказывали о нововведениях, графике, физике катания и так далее, но по данному видео, складывается впечатление, что нас обманули…
Ctrl C (NHL 24) + Ctrl V (NHL 25). EA Clowns, its in the game.
Are your teams goalies any better this year ?? Fair too often in superstar and all star id have to outscore teams 8-4 / 7-5 every game while my goalie lets in 4-5-6 goals on less than 20 shots, ruined the offline gameplay for me the last two years
i like the replays but thats about it lol
I don’t get it why do you have a second yt channel apart from your main
I haven’t played since 2017 lol I’m use to the cheap one timer lol buying this one tho 👌
if Anyone from any teams celebrate their goal number 6 like a coward like that to make the score 6-0.. i will asure you it will come with consequences. I cant wait in 2050 when EA sport nhl will be realistic. i will buy it for sure in the late future,
This looks like a recycled piece of junk
You dont have to play the game bud
@@emilbergvall6163 you got that right bud
Nhl 24 version 1,5
have they improved the menus or are they still slow / glitchy?
why does every player look so tall and lanky?
Is the PWHL in the game? If not, I'll just create it, but this game should eventually add it.
Staying with 24 for a bit. Besides ea will nerf all the changes like they always do
Why dont the Refs announce penalties from center ice? The game has so many problems but that has always bugged me😅
I like the scoreboard change but they need to get someone else in to record for the play by play and colour commentary. James' voice is so annoying. Go get John Forslund or Ken Daniels. Someone with a better sounding voice. The whole presentation package needs an upgrade. AI has always sucked in EA games. Maybe in like 4 games over the past 30 years it was solid but recently its just dumb bots.
Habs fans clapping for Nylander's goal?? LMAO
i thought early release was the 27th? or is it just for creators
If i hear "pricy pond hockey" on be a pro im gonna lose my 💩
I bet you will hear that from be a pro 😂
The skating does look better imo
Uh.oh maple leafs lead 3to0 going in the 2nd
Do they have goal songs?
3 SOG!? WTF EA 😂
Same god damn game as last year lmfao EA 😂
I hate how it feels more like an arcade game with the presentation. This isn't Rocket League FFS. The presentation in NHL 14 was way better. Although you can argue NHL 25 looks better, it feels cheaper somehow. There's no weight to it. Typical EA. Roster update costs an arm and a leg every year.
The same game what i See..... 😮
I swear they done use mocap for the goalies, they look like actual robots and move in alien ways. Thats one thing thats always bothered me about NHL, this looks atrocious.
Boring just watching it. Players don’t wanna hear the same voice commentary every year. Why can’t ea spend some
Money on this game. I wonder what the budget was this year.
It sounds like ea doesn't give the Nhl games much budget, it sounds like they have lots of ideas but such a a short time to work on it and a low budget. Truly is a shame, oh what could be of this game.
Turn commentary off. Funny enough, I find I play better without it.
Ok so need to wait another year .... Or olay when will be online for free on ea
Looks completely unchanged other than one timers. I downloaded the trial so we’ll see if it plays different
This looks like an early build. It is just too similar to 24.
я даже один гол забить не могу на таком уровне сложности
On the rebound
Still no full presentatiion?? WTF!!
