Some of these catfish victims are absolutely 💯 clueless. Do we really need to hire a crew to have them investigate 🔬 & determine it’s a scam? Come on now. A cell phone can find just about anything, let’s use some common sense & determination here.
I do consider myself tech savvy but as well been catfishes at a sensitive part of my life (emotionally).. There should have been HUGE red flags waving 24/7 but I was blind and deaf... I actually did not suspect him being a catfish. Let´s say my loss was not soo considerable financially but embarrassing to say the least... I was under the impression that I was assisting him away from an abusive relationship & buying him a plane ticket home and some cash to assist him on his first couple of weeks back home... My second catfish was less skilled and I took him for a ride (48hrs granted) but I was pulling his leg. My last message to him was a pic by the police station and a report in my hand with his contacts and identity (as I tracked him via the App, name, bank account number, etc..)
The first catfish's you mentioned sounds like my catfishing ex, he catfished and cheated on me on and off for 5 years and i found out through his side man, it was extremely emotional for me i was a wreck. People on the outside simply dont get it
I’ll NEVER get how people can get SOOO connected to another by words on a screen..or a photo…I’m not trying to purposely judge…work inside first….know your worth…demand more for your life…I’m sorry..I guess I just want people happy without all the smoke and mirrors…Anyones Real love aren’t filled with games..it’s face to face..real…If someone needs to hide..Know….You deserve more…
But also realize there's a person behind every profile, even if its through a screen, its still human connection to a degree, me and my bf met online and we only met irl once, now we're talking about living together and even settling down finally. It is very possible, you just gotta be and meet the right person for long distance at long periods of time.
