This is without a doubt one of my favorite lights! Check this out and all of SHEHDS great deal after you watch this video. www.shehds.com/?DIST=RkFAFA%3D%3D
Great light and great video! You really did a good job of showing the features of this light. Love the multiple shots so I can see the effect from different angles. Well done. I just subscribed.
Shehds is just a store that sells goods from different manufacturers, the quality is different there, at a Chinese auction you can find exactly the same devices for 30% cheaper. In order to understand how much shehds makes money on you, show us what's inside this head?
Hey Kris, I have two of these coming based largely on your and a couple of other reviews. I'm confused by the user manual that says that these units "must" be 8 meters from the stage/dancefloor. I see units like this right on the stage and can't imagine why you'd need to position it nearly 30' away. When I asked on the Shehds site, they were not exactly forthcoming...hoping you can (pun intended) shed some light on this.
Thanks for watching. I am not sure why it would say that either. It seems like some of the manuals they provide may have generic info from other fixtures. I dont have the manual near me at this time, but as you see in my video i ran it for hours in a much smaller place. No problems. Love this light. Enjoy! If you have any questions happy to help if I can. 👍🍻🤘
Thanks so much! That is very helpful. Are you still using your regularly? Still satisfied with them? Also, will you be doing a video on how you control your DMX fixtures? Thanks again for responding!
Unfortunately, I haven't purchased a second one as of yet. I love it though. I'm hoping to get one sometime next year as business is slow right now. I tried to barter another reviewer for their s and they liked it to much to part with it too. Lol
Hi! Great video Kris! Have you tried using them with your Wolfmix and what’s your thoughts on that combo? I am thinking of purchasing some but when I tried to control them in my Visualizer program it won’t do all of the cool Fx stuff this fixture can do. I am using Capture to visualize it in 3D. Thought it would be a great way to try them out before I buy, if I only could get them to work😅
Thanks for watching. I dont know anything about the visualizer program. I did this video using the wmx1. You could use it, is hard to go through spme of the pre set patterns, but you cound pre set some stuff and have cool options. I am sorry I am a bit rusty on the wmx1 because I have not been using it. Went to chauvet show express because i like the extra options.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Yeah, these are not a problem for private events. I do reviews in my basement so any noise is enhanced. Lol. The only fans i found a bit load so far were the 160w lights i reviewed and i can use those for receptions so... no worries.
How long did they take to arrive? I ordered 4 of another Shehds moving wash and I'm getting the run around on tracking and delivery. Great video, looks and sounds great.
Hey my friend, love your content, I subscribe to your channel as well. Maybe you can give me some pointers. I’ve been trying to bye a set of these Big Bee’s Eyes Movers. Their website is not the easiest to navigate. Do you have any suggestions about whether or not I should buy from US warehouse or China because it’s a tad confusing. Any input from you would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a Million & keep up the good work!
Thanks for watching. Definitely try US warehouse if you are in the US. If they don't have them I think they will default to China. Sorry, I can not remember when I last ordered. The delivery time from China isnt that bad either as long as you dont need them this weekend. 🤘🍻
Thanks for checking it out. No, this is a reason I mention not using Auto or Sound modes. I actually have not seen many with that option, unfortunately. Might have to do with price-point but wouldn't think it would be an expensive addition for the manufacturer.
@nico97412 hi, thanks for watching. I have not used the light since the video. Although I really really like it. I only have one unit. So I can not attest to its longevity. However, I am still using the 160s and the 19x15 from shehds often and both fine after a year of being garage kept in roadcase and gigging. Garage is not temp controlled. Gets real hot and cold seasonally. Hope this helps.
hey Kris.... Man please if you could help us out...... We're using Lightkey tryin to control some Shehds fixtures using our MacBook Pro M2 version • ENTTEC usb dmx interface... and we simply cannot get it to work.... The profile from the Shehds website, we downloaded and imported it into Lightkey.... It doesn't even recognize the fixture as a Moving Head.... (275W 10R Moving Head) which you've also reviewed.. I'm at my wits end here ..... any help would be appreciated
Hey, sorry your having problems. I would not be shocked if the profile online was not the same as the manual. Do you have the manual and can you create the profile manually? I manually added it to both showexpress and blizzard eclipse software and didnt have an issue.
@@KrisSzanto Yes I've tried a couple different online profiles for the fixture and also attempted a manual profile on two types from Shehds... 275W 10R Moving Head and the 300W LED Beam Moving head.... both don't work.... my Boulder fixtures and my Chauvet Fixtures in the same project work w/o issue...... I'm stomped ... I don't know what to do at this point..
@Chad Beverly Gotcha. I have heard of them here, but have never actually seen a piece of gear from that manufacturer. If I ever come across one I will check it out.

Hi thanks for watching and commenting. Most of the lighting that all of us use are manufactured in Guangzhou China. Most have nearly the same look or style and are probably manufactured in the same factories with slight changes internally. I have a few lights from multiple companies that are nearly identical except for their names. (Even though some names are the same) I do not claim to be an electrician or electrical engineer, I just know that the lights work well and have suited me well so far. I have had one minor problem with 1 of my dozen lights or so and a replacement part was sent to me which I have never replaced because it hasnt been a major issue. If any major problems arrise from any lights that I review I will be sharing. If showing you what was in the head could tell you how much money shehds was making on me... could you tell how much more adj or chauvet was making on me by opening up their's? (I would bet its ALOT more)
@@KrisSzanto Opening up Chinese lights and ADJ/Chauvet lights and comparing them, you can clearly see a huge difference in the quality of manufacture. And there’s consistency as well, which is always much better with the American brands
