i worked for pizza hut for 20+ years, and they do almost EXACTLY the same techniques, even the "singing happy birthday while washing hands"! but i will say one thing... i bet that manager is one of the best to work with. i can tell by his demeanor.
That man seems like he could make every customer's day.
That’s how my manger at my store is too unless he’s mad. When someone comes for a pick up people say I have a pick up he will say I have that’s cool I have a mini van
I used to work as a delivery driver for Domino's, and this brought back memories. I loved having my car smelling like pizza all the time and my boss was a mean old strict SOB but he was cool haha

Rudyyyb I started working there about 3 months ago. It’s been phones to labels to boxes to customers but I don’t really clean that often since the drivers who aren’t delivering clean the lobby and kitchen because they haven’t practiced much in the make line or the oven

I love this guy so much...Ramone..he's so cheery and just exudes passion and skill from his work...I could be wrong but im sure he gives 100% in what he does...hes the dream employee companies would want to have
I got hired there as a delivery guy on a bike when I just turned 14. It seemed fun at first until we had too much delivery drivers and I had to work inside for half a year. when I turned 15 I immediately switched to stocking shelves.

Seeing how it's actually handled in the kitchen makes me respect Dominos even more than I already do, it's my favorite Pizza place and has always been perfect every slice
I work at Domino's! I love tossing out the dough and topping pizzas (even though some of the topping are too damn cold) but my favorite thing to do is to make the cheesy bread and pan pizzas. It's a fun job but once it get's busy, you gotta have your shit together and stay focus because one wrong mistake could throw everything off. Thank you for this video!

Jayarie- Agree! I live in Florida, just like 2 hrs from JP & Julia. I've worked at several Domino's in my city & it's honestly a super friendly, fast paced environment. Definetly stressful at times, but that hardly has to do with the crew! We get along @ my local franchise!
Same here, management was not great at all. I hate to talk down on a business, but my partner and I were treated terribly. :( There were two good managers, but they unfortunately did not manage our store, they just visited.

I use to deliver Pizza for Dominos. all I can say is the rush you get when you got 3 delivers at once on a Saturday or Sunday and make 70-100$ in tips . Best college job if you need fast cash

My Father works in the Domino's buisness and we opened a new store recently. I got to make the first pizza at the new restaurant and I did exactly what JP and Julia did. It was really fun!

I’m not thrilled about the Dominoes in my area...but if this guy would work at any of them...I would definitely be a patron...great work please keep him it’s hard to find a good worker that simply loves the job

Dominos in Australia has 16’’ New York style pizza now. It’s my fave. With sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms. They always put a mountain of cheese on it!

I work there. Never a dull moment at Domino's. You'll get frustrated about once a week. But beyond that it's really a joy.

@@santosreyna8917 for the most part. But now as a manager, and new regulation rules, we have a lot on our plate and things you do with minimal time. Labor is always high and you feel like you could always use another staff member for help prepping, dating and making food, while tending to phone, customers and the cut table. Slight variances from store to store but if you know what you're doing and get fluent it's not bad. The good owards the bad.
Lol, I'm a suuuuper new CSR. Everyone's super nice, but I'm still learning how to work everything but the phones.

Question. I see them sprinkle the cheese over the pizza like rain, which causes a lot of it to fall into the trench. A large company like Domino's is obsessed with costs and probably weighs portions down to the individual gram, so I'm sure they don't throw that valuable cheese away. Does it get recycled back into the topping bin or is it used for other products?

You know damn well you don't wash your hands for that long.
And all the time at that. Keeping it up consistently can be complicated. Gloves extra layer of protection from sweat and stuff and if you forgot to wash your hands you are alot better off.

The Dominos guys are mad lit in Oneonta. They always deliver pizzas to Hartwick or SUNY and get rowdy with the crowd I love it

1990 i worked at domino's $5 an hour, we got compensated for mileage 20 cents a mile then later 50 cents per delivery, we always make a wrong order so we can bring the pizza and grab a soda when making deliveries, the manager is busy on the phone to notice otherwise you just get a personal pan pizza for lunch and we make a pizza to take home, i noticed getting more tips from people in apartments than houses.

ive gotta say, in my experience working at dominos, the only drawback is if you apply for evening and night shift. you will be there until 2 or 3 in the morning, and i usually worked a 3 to 3. if you enjoy free time, stick to day shift
I started at Dominos. I was making $9.30 an hour(minimum wage in Denver at the time). They also stole my tips for months. The tips were only about $3 a day though. I used the experience to get a job at a local pizza place which paid $12 an hour to start. I eventually got up to $20 and hour plus tips. But the management was scummy so I quit. I then got an even better job that started at $18 plus tips and bonus. And now I’m about to get a raise to $20 an hour again. So my point is work local and never work for a corporation.
