I just realized that the name "antibody" on the crate is just that, an anti-body drug. Now I'm curious as to the what the other stages were like that led up to this, since this is the final precaution.
My theory about the stages: Since it's a "behavioral" program, i assume that's an euphemism for indoctrination. The mother, under the cult's orders, tried to indoctrinate the child under their dogmas. There were various stages of attempts to get the child under control, from hypnosis, to drugging, to corporal punishment, etc. but none of them worked. So, this is the last measure.

We need more of this! No jumpscares, no spooky imagery, it’s in the realm of possibility (as far as stuff like this goes) and subtle but effective. Good stuff!
@@tradition1433 I mean the enjoyment of a jumpscare is pretty subjective. I personally find subtle, “silent” horror is more effective. The build up and threat of a jumpscare, only for it to not happen, makes me more on edge than when it does happen. To each their own, though.
@@tradition1433 i think they’re both great for different reasons, the ones with jump scares of disturbing imagery scare ppl bcuz they r shocking and startle u, and the ones without create a more slow burn horror and feel like they could have existed irl. one leaves u more shocked, and the other more creeped out, and both of those feelings r scary. everyone has their own preferences ofc, i like videos that r somewhere in between best but i really enjoyed the premise of this one and hope we get more content!

This is by far the most well-put together and believable analogue horror video I’ve ever seen. No random music cut-outs, not much forced, vague language, and no random scary images popping up. Just a weird, fucked-up instructional video.

The musical background that wants to make believe that "everything is fine, it's just an instruction video" And the words at the end, simply exciting and shocking. As if it's so easy to take a child's life without any feeling Congratulations, truly, a masterpiece of suspense and terror.

@@thehonorablereverendaddiso1943 actually something like this happened in my country 2 decades away, but instead of a drug it was the classic physical damage, just that it was done with a hardwood stick, one day after a very hard hit on the head... little kid didn't wake up, the mom got worried after the kid "faked being hurt" for more than two hours, she ends getting the neighbors involved cuz she thought the kid would feel pressure enough to "stop faking" and says something like what you posted, little kid was 2 hours dead already at that point

This is ubelievable. After Local58 itself it's the one single analog horror thing that managed to surprise me. I still love Gemini Home Entertainment, for example, but it played on familiar field - boo, demons are around! And here is something completely new, that still stays analog horror, the genre that we grew to love so much. Pleeeease, continue~
Well, this has utterly, permanently ruined "One More Step Along the World I Go (Keep Me Traveling Along With You)" for me. The springy tempo and the sunny feelings it induced are gone, replaced with a funereal atmosphere wreathed in a foot-dragging dirge. That aside, and with tongue no longer planted in cheek, this is up there in slow-and-low simmering existential horror revelation as Local 58's "Contingency", and that's no faint praise. Bravo to the video author, great work, and more, please.
This is genuinely so haunting to me. Nothing supernatural, just an uncaring instructional video on how to murder a child under the guise of religious righteousness. Reminds me a lot of religious folk who advocate for gay conversion therapy, or who believe they can “pray away autism” and similar conditions. People in the comments say they want to see parts 1-3, but I feel this is more impactful by itself. Very powerful stuff.

That's unsettling as hell. Makes me wonder if any of those service trucks/vans (cable/internet, landscaping, exterminator, etc.) that I always see in my neighborhood are actually disposal teams in disguise.

Hands down the absolute darkest analog horror videos. It's easy to lean into supernatural elements, but employing such deep and dreadful real-world inspiration like this is truly terrifying. It's not so difficult to imagine some batshit right-wing "conversion therapy" camp utilising this method as a last resort to keep their conversion ratio high.
Parts 1 - 3 are implied to be standard, real world punishments/conversion attempts. This "Stage 4" is when they've given up on the child and just want to kill it rather than try any further to bring it into line with whatever they deem as "normal".
