As someone who has listened heavily too most genres and sub genres of rock most of my life, I love how much I can relate too you. There is such a intense and worldly dynamic set in stone when it comes to Kpop. Like you said before the rock world is pretty pigeonholed, so these groups creating any persona they want and expressing that creativity on another level goes such a long way. For people that love all to many styles of rock that is everything too us. SKZ holds the crown for giving you that little bit of everything and helping shape all the ways different styles of music and dance can be presented. Thanks for reacting to this! Yes SKZs mics are always on. They don’t lip sync, which is rare when they are also doing so much choreography . They have phenomenal dancers, they actually have one of the best dancers (Lee Know) and one of the best performers (Hyunjin) in kpop. Their Mnet Wolfgang from August (the Kingdom Wolfgang from June is missing a main dancer) and Their MAMA 2021 Cheese/Hey Monster and Thunderous Hero Version are probably some of their best performances ever. Same as their MAMA 2020 Victory Song performance. They weren’t nominated, told they were performing 4 days before the show and they literally made MAMA 2020 their own concert.
Absolutely agree! Every listen and view of a skz song feels fresh and new. Its amazing how you can discover something new to see or hear everytime and it just hits as hard on the 1000th listen as it did on the 1st listen. Stray kids are musical geniuses! I spent my teen years listening to bands like Sleeping with Sirens, Pierce the Veil, All Time Low and so much more (i still do sometimes) I even collected (and still try to) albums from these bands. When your video was recommended to me on my feed i dont know why i didnt recognize you right away until i saw your other vids. Never would I have thought that I'd be watching the guitarist to one of my fav bands growing up reacting to my favorite Kpop Group. It made me feel nostalgic and happy and excited. I wasnt a big kpop fan back then but my friend recommended me Stray Kids a couple years ago because she knows my music taste and thought i would like them. She was right. Also yes, that was Felix and the one at the end was Han! You mentioned you liked that Skz incorporated actual instruments into their music and I wanted to recommend the group Dreamcatcher. Im not entirely a fan as ive only heard a few songs from them but they captured me the same way Skz did because of their music matching my taste. They took the rock direction this year and they have an album called rock star. The main title track is called LALALALA but they also have a rock version at the end of the album I think you should check out as well! I know their one member Han listens to rock music so I really hope he’s heard of SWS

It is such a quintessential Stray Kids concoction; genre blending, high energy, fun, catchy choreo, and full of SKZ attitude. The choreo is fast and hard, not easy to sing while doing it (said so by SKZ’s dance leader Lee Know who doesn’t sugar coat his opinions). Of course the dear boys made it look easy. By the way, you should check out “Easy”. I’d recommend the dance practice version not the MV because the choreo was only here and there in the MV.
