I think the key is that he never gets too shaken. He's a bucket from anywhere and rarely goes fully cold from the field. The more chess match star-centric atmosphere of the playoffs allows his constant probing and testing of the defense to thrive. On top of that, his clutch factor is nearly unmatched. He scraps on offense and defense, you can tell how hard he works even among a group of people as hard working as the NBA. Truly impressive.

Never gets too shaken + he's an insane tough bucket getter. If you had a chance to watch Jamal Murray playoff game for the first time, you'd think it's all luck. All the stepbacks and mid-range shots shouldn't come as easily as he hits them
In their last 5 playoff series they faced the following seeds: 8 4 7 8 7. We'll see how they do next when they face a 3 seed, which is better than anything they faced last season. They 2-2 against them in the regular season, so it should be a good series.

Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic can show the world how great Shaq and Kobe can be if they kept their egos aside. similar player roles, similar positions, similar story
I don’t think I would compare Jokic and Shaq. I think the only thing that’s similar between them is that they’re heavy centers. Posting up is their common skill, but not much else.
Get off the gas. You tripping. Don't you ever compare Kobe to Jamal Murray. First of all. Aaron Gordons presence makes Jokic unguardable. Jamal is still mid. .... Remove Aaron Gordon and The Denver Nuggets lose their dominance. Jokic use his exceptional players like an Infinity gauntlet... Y'all gotta stop.. Jokic is the reason. Smartest player in the league. You won't see Jamal lead anything without that team as it is structured. He not even top 5 pg's in the playoffs this year
I think that's also an example of how he is perceived by the media and fans. He's an all-star who performs well regularly and elevates as a star should in the Playoffs, so it's gonna get less attention, especially since they've lost so much over the last couple years.
Booker's playoff choker image is due to when he randomly scores just over 10 points especially in critical games like in game 7 vs the Mavs in 2022 and game 6 against the Nuggets in 2023. You can average 40ppg in the playoffs but people will point out that one game where you just score 15 points in a crucial game that sends you in Cancun.

I remember watching Murray in the bubble when he was dueling Donovan Mitchell. It was the most hype series of that round with both of them going for 40+ almost every game. Since then, Playoff Jamal was born
Great video, he really is just amazing at this. Jokic is already one of the best players ever - arguably the best offensively, and super clutch, but Jamal Murray in the playoffs + Jokic in the playoffs is just somethingelse, they really put in 100% both of them. @@KinGxSTuDx nah I think Jimmy still has it rn. Don’t forget Murray has Jokic. Jimmy is the main guy and absolutely puts the team on his back in the playoffs. "Infact, here's a chart". Gets me everytime!😂But seriously, this video is Gold. If I randomly said this out loud about Jamal Murray, people would watch me like I'm on crack!!!!! Great work once again!💯

also the graph proves SC>KD for all the ppl that belittle Curry for having KD on his team.
Also if the try to trade Draymond this year, all he has to do is show this graph
dame caught me off guard
Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic can show the world how great Shaq and Kobe can be if they kept their egos aside. similar player roles, similar positions, similar story
I don’t think I would compare Jokic and Shaq.
I think the only thing that’s similar between them is that they’re heavy centers.
Posting up is their common skill, but not much else.
Lol, wut?
Yeah, similar roles, Shaq was an all-time great passer, initiator of the offense, and Good three-point shooter.
@@CleverAccountName303Don't forget Shaq also was a knockdown free-throw shooter and great at the high pick n roll.
He not even top 5 pg's in the playoffs this year
@@androidtimmybrain dead commemt
You know they got Jamal Murray but we got Anthony Edwards
Dunked on LeBron too, it’s crazy cause he really struggled in that series but stepped up when lights were brighter than a supernova
Ok but the media told me devin booker was terrible in the playoffs, he is top 3 in the league when it comes to playoff basketball by this chart
You can average 40ppg in the playoffs but people will point out that one game where you just score 15 points in a crucial game that sends you in Cancun.
when a student does poorly on a unit test early in the semester, but aces the corresponding section on the exam, he is given the latter exam grade and the former test grade is erased; for all intensive purposes, jamal murray is a top 10 nba player.
I mostly only watch playoff games. You've explained perfectly what I was thinking about the other day while watching him play. He is so good at getting to his spots. He looks like an MVP guard.
Mans so clutch his got jokic hyped
Lol. Watching Jokic celebrate on the game 2 buzzer beater was awesome. I've never seen Jokic so happy on the court before.

Been saying it for years. Jamal Murray is a top 4 pg in the league. He just knows that running the offense through Jokic is better for winning
Nahh. I am not even sure Murray can take this team to the playoffs. While Jokic carries Will Barton,Austin Rivers, Facundo Campaza to the playoffs
@@angahbg9089 Yeah Murray is 6’2” so naturally he couldn’t carry a terrible team to the playoffs. Not even Steph could. Just height and length limitations
Jxmy is the only person that can reveal a stat on a graph and make it feel like he just won a rap battle.
the graphs in this one were sick jimmy!!! super well explained and easy to understand, even with these ones needing to be more complex
Jamal Has long been one of my favorite players to watch. Stats aside the fluidity of his game is up there with Curry. Plus he can sky for the dunk as well.
you curse him he is struggling against the timberwolves 😂😂😂
I remember watching Murray in the bubble when he was dueling Donovan Mitchell. It was the most hype series of that round with both of them going for 40+ almost every game. Since then, Playoff Jamal was born
Great video, he really is just amazing at this. Jokic is already one of the best players ever - arguably the best offensively, and super clutch, but Jamal Murray in the playoffs + Jokic in the playoffs is just somethingelse, they really put in 100% both of them. This nuggets team is something really special, they aren't even the most talented team, but they are a calm, selfless, competitive team
Reading these comments after tying the series is hilarious. Will be interesting to see how the rest goes
I have no idea what will happen in game 7, it would be poetic if Murray finishes it off again
I swear Murray is the only I seen play like a casual in the regular season, then become MJ in the postseason 💀
and that 2020 run by him was crazy!
Jimmy Butler does it too but Jamal is surpassing him 100% if he hasn't already done it.
@@KinGxSTuDx nah I think Jimmy still has it rn. Don’t forget Murray has Jokic. Jimmy is the main guy and absolutely puts the team on his back in the playoffs. If you swap them, Murray doesn’t lead that Heat team to 2 finals and the Nuggets are still dominating, if not dominating a little more with Jimmy.
Jimmy, oh Jimmy, lemme tell you. Me and my wife’s boyfriend used to watch your videos, well I was in the closet and he had it on. I miss those days. Ever since he ran off with my kids I haven’t seen him or her but you know what I do have? I have you, Jim. Keep making these.
