This was not about permission at all. Liam excused for his behavior and attacking Finn earlier. Still as Kelly's Dad he has the right and even the duty to closely monitor a new man living with her Mom.

Or he all of sudden wants to play 'Father of the Year' when he thinks he can use Kelly to control Steffy. Because that is why Lamo is upset, he can't control Steffy anymore. She is with a MAN that literally took a bullet for her. What has Lamo done: made her feel like she is never good enough, left her and Kelly repeatedly for Deacon and the SFTV spawn, mentally and emotionally abused her. And in the storyline in todays time, he only wants Steffy back because he doesn't want to be alone.
Carter really is naive when it comes to women. Somehow he always seems to be the backup. Maya and Zoe should have been honest instead of keeping Carter's hopes up. On the other hand I also don't get why Hope is letting Thomas sneak himself back into her life. Co-parenting is one thing, but this could also be like "drop off/pick up" at the door. No need to get all cozy after everything Thomas has done. I don't belive in the miraculous healing and Hope really should keep her guards up.
Liam you didn't care of Kelly until you saw that Steffy was falling for Finn and you don't need to tell her that she needs to lived her life when you walk out of her life so quit acting all jealous and be with your wife Hope.

Liam could never truly let go Steffy, their bond was much stronger no matter what relationship they had. A huge mistake by the authors to bring him back with Hope in 2018, they suppress each other If they had initially written the line between Hope and Thomas correctly, the show would have had 2 strong, interesting couples. I hope we get them in 2024
Agree. Even though I think Liam will never be a good partner - not even for Steffy. They have incredible chemistry, but Liam is never loyal in the long term. If there are small problems, he flies to someone else. And you don't want that for Steffy anymore after all these years.
