EPIC IDEA:
You gotta build a team for each "level" of success in basketball.
So fantasy draft and you build a team per season that doesn't make the playoffs, wins only the first round, wins only up to the 2nd round, wins only up to the conference championship, and then wins a championship. You don't have to do it in that order but you have to call which one you are attempting before that specific season.
I like this challenge! It intrigues us business and finance majors 😂😂

the former player challenge: randomly pick a team and then put the 10 worst players currently on that team and 5 40 overalls. spin a wheel every year with all 30 nba teams and you have to pick a random player that used to play for that team (but is still active in the league). the catch is everytime you choose a new player to add to your roster you must get rid of your leading scorer for that season. no changing tendencies. you have 10 years to complete this- suggested by penguin guy.

Rule 1: You cannot sign any players during off season free agency.
Rule 2: Once a player’s contract expires, they’re gone from the team for good.
Rule 3: You cannot sign players in free agency to acquire assets then flipping them nor can you use free agency to fill up roster space.
Rule 4: No contract extensions or trades during off season free agency.
Rule 5: Trade only during the regular season.
Rule 6: Try and win 2 or 3 championships.
This is my challenge for KOT4Q let’s see if he can complete this.

I've had it only positive on an expansion supersonics rebuild I did. I drafted all young cheap players in the beginning and then traded for the best picks. ended up with a dynasty and 500 million profit that quickly disappeared once I started paying all the contracts

I think it’s also about how good the team is that you win or lose to Kenny.
If you get good young players on rookie contracts with atleast 1 solid high Vet on a big market team revenue sky rockets easy. Winning with cheap young players in a big market gets you the most money in 2K and most likely in real life 2.

This would be a lot harder and could be a potential series of creating a profitable dynasty. Teams are normally willing to go into debt if it puts them in a top tier franchise (Warriors) so it should be a reasonable challenge.

Can you do what if the Warriors never traded their young core, so poole and wiseman would still be on the team. The young core would be poole, moody, kuminga, wiseman and try to win championship with curry, klay, and dray. So basically the roster after the 2022 championship but increased minutes to the young core.
