New Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid Valve from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/ACEMX00009
This video shows you how to install a new vapor purge valve or purge valve solenoid on your 2007-2014 Cadillac Escalade. Vapor purge valves are an important part of the EVAP system that allow the contained fuel vapors to be released into the combustion chamber under certain conditions. Modern purge valves are controlled by the vehicle’s computer system, and electronic solenoids. Failure of the valve or the control solenoid will result in an emissions trouble code that could prevent passing emissions testing.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:

2009 Cadillac Escalade

Great video
do you think this job can be done without a lift? I have ramps
Do I have replace the hose also.. can I just replace purge
I have an 08 Escalade and it doesn’t have that same end by the fuel cap. It’s more of a nub that sits behind the fuel cap, do I require a different part ?
Will it be the same place for an 2005 model??
