Mazda is the first Japanese company to develope a true house style. All the recent models share styling details which make them instantly recognisable. The Germans and some British makers have been like this for years, especially Mercedes.
Since 2000 I have owned 6 different Miatas. I had tried other Mazdas but struck out on my first 2. I bought a well used 626 many years ago and it blew a head gasket after 2 months. In ‘08 I bought a brand new Mazda 6….sold it in one year, road like a log wagon. I think Ford still had a partnership with Mazda at the time. 😢 In 2018 while getting my Miata serviced I drove a new Mazda 6 Signature and bought it on the spot. Amazing car and every bit as nice as either of the Lexus cars I’ve owned in the past. We no longer own it but are driving a 2022 CX-5 Turbo…another great car from Mazda!!! And we also have a 2021 MX-5 Miata RF Club BBR…my favorite Miata of the 6 I’ve owned. THEY NEED TO BRING BACK THE MAZDA 6!
Such a beautiful car, that paint color combined with the light tan leather interior is quite striking. Shame we no longer get the 6 in North America and it likely never comes back.😢 If only sedans sold a bit better here I think Mazda would design a new one with their latest rear wheel drive, inline 6 hybrid platform. Now THAT would give luxury car makers a run for the money!

GM only has a couple left, those will be discontinued soon, and even the Japanese, Korean and Euro makers who still offer sedans have cut back on the number of models versus what they used to offer. Think about this, two of the Japanese companies (Mazda and Subaru) are now down to a single sedan each (Mazda 3 and Legacy) and leaving the dwindling North American market for their competitors Honda, Toyota and Nissan to provide most of the four door sedans sold. (Mercedes, BMW and Audi are luxe and small numbers sold) Car makers are in the business of making money, not making cars for fun...if sedans were massive sellers we would have a massive number of models in all size and price ranges to choose from...just like the crossover/SUV market is now.

Not one detail has changed? Let's see. I first owned the 2015, then purchased the 2020 Turbo model. There are many changes from the 2015 to the end of line model. More powerful engine, much improved head unit, big time step up in interior to name a few. Not sure how you arrived at this conclusion.

I bought a 2003 Mazda6 in racecar yellow. What a hoot! Loved to drive it and put it in manual mode. One time, we were in Vegas and had to make it home in time that night for a Christmas dinner party. Wife and kids were fast asleep. I drove like a bar out of hell from the Strip, going 120 mph (almost 200 k/h) on the highway straight as a ruler. What fun! (That was the ONLY time I drove 120 mph...) Too bad we don't have it in North America any more. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I want to get those seats with the 20th Anniversary emblem. Where was this filmed? Poland?
Unfortunately ladies and gentlemen. The Mazda 6 is being discontinued this year. So the anniversary edition is more like a funeral. And that's why I'm going to buy it tomorrow. A beautiful car with a wonderful 2.5 liter naturally aspirated engine. In 4 years, such cars will no longer be sold. Not even from Mazda. Unfortunately, ladies and gentlemen. Tonda

I have a 2019 petrol model. It's a great car but Mazda please upgrade your paint, it's so thin and it gets dents so easy from driving on the highway... The germans have way better paint and laquer, it's thicker and is better lasting.

Other than the new paint and interior colors, I don’t see much difference from the car they stopped making 2 years ago. Exterior and interior style are the same as the 2018 model I had.

Mine is 2021 mazda fantastic, unique elegant car no doubt. Exactly same interior and exterior to this, what's new? Nothing is upgraded even for 20th anniversary? Foldable side mirror? I like this color (dark cherry?) But soul crystal red is still one of the best reds I've ever seen. It instantly makes each car in that color look more expensive than it really is. Agree about the interior, but I'd really have to see what it looks like in person.
@@SirT80 And they are extolling their "timeless design" so the are not planning any big changes. But this new one has an improvement to the grill, ( in my opinion). I agree that the design has become boring, though I consider it an effectively aerodynamic car. I would put up with the looks if only they would offer an upgrade to the Bose Stereo, (which my wife likes, but is just not to my taste).
No spare tire. No pass-thru from the boot, no V6, no all-wheel drive..... but $1,000 extra for a........ paint color. I'm beginning to understand why Mazda doesn't bother trying to sell them in the US anymore. Do better, Mazda.... we still appreciate that you haven't bowed to the CVT hysteria yet.
The screen tech and storage space is still mazda issue , they could handle the hard obstacles for any company but still they didn't handle these small issues

As it is now they have a brand new engine and platform only being used in one vehicle (CX-90) so my hope is they try to get their development money back by putting it in other form factors...such as a sedan no matter what they call it.
Nothing new but the body color compared to the last facelift! It seems to be the last stock of the current product life which tries to catch potential buyers for money.

Kodo design really puts Mazda on a level above Toyota, Nissan, and Honda.

Sedans are massive sellers in North America; just not as much as SUVs.

We have a 2017 Signature series. Would buy another if I could. No longer available in Canada. Should be updated to CX 90 interior.
It's not that easy or cheap to swap interiors with another model. They're limited to colors and minor details.

If they dechrome the exterior into black and change the taillights into a more modern one it would have been a almost perfect car

I like this blood red much much more than the soul crystal red.
But for the interieur I would prefer a cool toned brown color.
