Hubiera dado mi vida x ver este concierto tan exacto y respetuoso en cada nota,cuando decimos...no me canso de escucharlo,no son palabras vanas x decir algo,son palabras escritas con el corazon,es algo ke x muxo ke keremos explikar siempre se kedara corto,los conciertos de Genesis x el tiempo y epoca kedaron grabaciones no muy buenas en imagen y sonido,en estas dos horas se resume perfectamente el espiritu de otro tiempo ke ahora los ke tenemos cierta edad lo vivimos como cuando vieron la luz esis conciertos x primera vez.Grandes musicos Genetics,Gran perfeccion ke cerca esta de superar lo insuperable,Gracias a todos estos maestros,gracias y un gran recuerdo hacia Nacho.Y todo es mejorable como dice la frase,pero esto es insuperable.Gracias de corazon x vuestro compromiso con el respeto hacia esa nota ke no tiene ke ser alterada,vosotros soy la fruta de akel arbol llamado Genesis.Un fuerte abrazo eterno para esa luz del cielo Nacho,y un fuerte abrazo para el resto de los grandisimos musicos inalterables ke llevasteis la magia al cuento de hadas y este se convirtio en leyenda para siempre.
la mejor banda que interpreta genesis... y la mejor banda en hacer musica extranjera. he oido muchas bandas tributo de varias bandas pero con la fidelidad musical de esta banda ninguna.... sigan siempre tocando. siempre necesitamos ver bandas en vivo que hagan estas canciones.. saludos de azul. pcia de bs as. los espero en algun.momento. hay un teatro muy lindo en azul, el teatro español. ojala algun dia vengan! abrazo

Estoy asombrado positívamente de esta banda, GENETICS, la manera como reproducen fiélmente la música de mi grupo de rock progresivo favorito, GENESIS, y el cantante reproduce a la perfección la voz de PETER GABRIEL. Los felicito sincéramente. Excelentes.
Fui a este show, hermoso recuerdo aunque aun hoy me entristece profundamente la tragedia sufrida por este tremendo artista-vocalista. Gracias por compartirlo !
I am a huge Genesis and Peter Gabriel fan from the US and I have also seen The Musical Box play live and I think the original comment is right on the money. These guys have more heart, especially with the original singer. I have only seen this and the stuff with Hackett on TH-cam and the new singer is very good but Nacho had real “Gabriel like” presence on stage. A great shame that he is gone. I would have liked to see him perform. I will definitely check them out if they ever venture anywhere near NYC.

I found this video by chance and had a sunny afternoon. Thanks to bands like this for covering this fantastic music, bringing it back to stage and helping it to stay alive. What Amando Gallo told about bying "Nursery Crime" and putting it on the record player, happened to me in a similar way. Back in1973 I was a soldier, more than 400 km away from home, and I bought this vinyl because of the photo on the cover, the strange song titles and the weird story that was printed on the backside. I had to wait some days before I could listen to it and being home late at friday night I could not hear it because of the neighbors. But saturday morning it could happen and I put my new record on the turntable. Different from Amando Gallo my first impression was not "The Musical Box" but the first chords of "Watcher of the Skies". The promises of the record cover had been fulfilled. Genesis had a new fan.
WOW These guys are fantastic. Found my way here following an ad for another Genesis tribute band's show. Have found 7 or 8 other tributes so-far. "Genetics" and a Canadian group called "The Musical Box" seem to be the best of the bunch. RIP 'Nacho' the lead singer, read below that he died last year. Too bad would have loved to see them.

¡Plop!, no sé qué decir, que no parezca exagerado o que empequeñezca lo que acabo de escuchar, algo ecuánime, objetivo e imparcial. Lo único que se me ocurre, excelente, excepcional y por momentos sublime. Fue evocador me traslado a años pasados, olvidados por el paso del tiempo, me hizo desenterrar de mi memoria experiencias vividas cuando comenzaba a escuchar a Genesis y su gran música. Este tipo de videos musicales, me alegran el término del día, después de soportar la basura ambiental del reggaetón.
No soy adepto a las bandas tributo. Pero Genetics es SENSACIONAL. Ese período de Genesis es el que me gusta. Suena impecable. Me gusta mucho con Thomas Price, que es un cantante inmenso. Y me gusta un poco más todavía la época de Nacho como vocalista. Me entristecí mucho cuando murió. Soy fan de Genetics. Me han emocionado más de una vez.

También puedo decir que conoci a Genesis en |973 en mi natal Leon Gto, en un casette, con Selling England by the Pound, a mis 62 años me han impresionado con su mas fiel interpretacion, nunca pense que los jovenes se interesarian en el progresivo, MUCHAS FELICIDADES, dont give up deveras me arrastro a las lagrimas.
Que rabia te da , que vivimos en un país que nunca valoro la música de calidad , música acordé a las letras y que hay que saber interpretarlas ....Esto no es para cualquier principiante ...Génesis es el reflejo de lo máximos que llegó el Rock Británico Sinfónico de los 70s junto con Yes , y algunos más que serán eternos y clásicos ...no puedo dejar de emocionarme las guitarras que lloran de Steve Hackett y la composición orquestal que tubo en manos de Tony Bank
increible, digo la banda completa, pero increible la gente que se han atrevdio a criticar el esfuerzo de este ensamble...debo imaginar que son musicos profesionales con titulos y discos para andar hablando "#$%&$...me gustaria oir sus trabajos
Excelente. Uno de los mejores y más complejos trabajos de Genesis interpretado a la perfección por esta magistral agrupación. Mis felicitaciones especiales al vocalista quien tuvo la difícil tarea de reemplazar nada más y nada menos que a Peter Gabriel, mucho mejor de lo que pudo llegar a hacerlo Phil Collins. Quizá lo único deficiente en mi opinión, es la interpretación de la flauta por parte del vocalista, pero en realidad su desempeño como vocalista es tan Bueno, que se lo perdono.

Wow, at first I tought it was a mistake, saying Genetics instead of Genesis. The sound and stage set almost caught me. What am I listening to?? Genesis, in 2014? Is this a reunion concert with seventies atmosphere? Is Peter really singing live with Phil back on the drums?? Well, wish it was true. I would fly to anywhere in the world just to see it happen before my eyes. Well, a few mistakes here and there, but in overall you have done a great live performance.

Un trabajo sin duda sorprendente, para mi es mas una obra de arte, esta banda me parece mejor que el conjunto que hizo Hackett, no digo que ese conjunto sea malo pero a comparación de este la verdad me gusta mucho mas, aparte de que es un buen concierto de 2:42:03 hrs, es magnifico es un concierto que Hackett no a podido hacer, digo todas las canciones de este concierto estan bien ejecutadas, para mi las hicieron a la perfeccion, y su vestuario ni se diga, gracias por este video, gracias por compartirlo con nosotros...
Respeto que digas que es mejor Genetics que el conjunto de Hackett, pero no lo comparto. Yo como fan incondicional de Genesis, admiro la etapa de Peter Gabriel y me hubiese gustado vivir un concierto de aquella época en primera fila. Pero creo que fue un momento histórico (Gabriel es único) y como tal, no me parecería afortunado que Hackett en solitario hiciese tributo a Genesis, interpretándo los temas identicos sin la banda original; porque perdería su identidad como artista. He tenido el placer de ver en directo a Steve Hackett, en 2010, y ha sido impecable, no he sentido nostalgia hacia los clásicos de Genesis. Más que nada porque he tenido la fortuna de poder ver justo antes ver a "Agents Of Mercy" interpretando temas de su disco "Fading Ghosts of Twillight". Nad Sylvan me trasladó a ese sentimiento que Gabriel podría ofrecer a los fans. Creo que es un ejemplo de que se puede evolucionar manteniendo la esencia. En mi opinión a los tributos les falta esencia (aunque es admirable lograr ese resultado que ofrece una banda tributo, y sobre todo Genetics). Ver simplemente a unos imitadores interpretando lo que grandes maestros nos han ofrecido, a mi, no me satisface. En cambio, hablando de Agents Of Mercy, creo que mantienen ese sentimiento vivo y actual. Invito a la gente a una reflexión sobre Hackett (muy criticado entre los puristas) y es que Hackett es, y siempre ha sido, un prodigio de artista poco reconocido. Creo que no se ha estancado y ha sabido evolucionar fiel a sus principios y ha mantenido una calidad musical muy acertada en cada trabajo en solitario (te puede gustar más o menos, pero ha crecido como artista siguiendo su camino) y en constante renovación. A mi juicio nos ha ofrecido a los fans un abanico impresionante de posibilidades dentro de rock progresivo. NOTA: reconozco que Genetics hace una interpretación muy precisa y acertada, sobre todo a nivel musical. No quiero que se piense que les quiero restar méritos, en absoluto; solo manifestar mi defensa hacia el trabajo de Hackett.
Santificatus Concuerdo contigo, el guitarrista de genetics es bastante bueno, pero Steve toca con mas personalidad y no tiene miedo de agregar cosas nuevas, lo mismo con el baterista, es muy bueno, pero para mi la forma de tocar de Gary es mucho mas interesante. Ademas el y su banda tocan temas de Atott y W&W, albumes que tambien me encantan. En marzo podre ver a Steve por primera vez.
Yo acabo de ver a Hackett y su grupo la semana pasada en vivo. Impresionantes. Te recomiendo que los veas y después hablamos. Hackett nunca va a hacer eso por que no le interesa hacerlo. ¿O tu crees que no lo ha hecho por que no puede?
Steve Hackett não vive agarrado ao passado, traz-nos as músicas que todos amamos - e ele, co-compositor, também - sem preocupações com as versões originais. Está no seu direito, e as músicas brilham com as interpretações dos competentes músicos que com ele tocam. Mas sentimos sempre o maior respeito pelo trabalho dos Genesis. Aliás, como também os Genetics. Com também os canadianos The Musical Box. Ouçamo-los a todos, com respeito e gratidão, pelas visões que nos trazem da obra dos Genesis que, para nós, será sempre mágica.
La bande revisted, de Hackett, esta muy lejos de la banda Argentina, que es insuperable, fallecido su primer cantante, lo releva Price, tan genial como aquel, que viva por simpre GENETICS, par que esta musica sea conocida por las nuevas generaciones.

Es una maravilla que hayan grupos como Genetics que mantienen viva la música de Genesis. Ejecución y escenografía perfectas.

También puedo decir que conoci a Genesis en |973 en mi natal Leon Gto, en un casette, con Selling England by the Pound, a mis 62 años me han impresionado con su mas fiel interpretacion, nunca pense que los jovenes se interesarian en el progresivo, MUCHAS FELICIDADES, dont give up deveras me arrastro a las lagrimas.

Me encanto que el publico cuando comienza cada cancion obaciono al grupo y recibieron cada cancion con un aplauso.
Que rabia te da , que vivimos en un país que nunca valoro la música de calidad , música acordé a las letras y que hay que saber interpretarlas ....Esto no es para cualquier principiante ...Génesis es el reflejo de lo máximos que llegó el Rock Británico Sinfónico de los 70s junto con Yes , y algunos más que serán eternos y clásicos ...no puedo dejar de emocionarme las guitarras que lloran de Steve Hackett y la composición orquestal que tubo en manos de Tony Bank

Excelente. Uno de los mejores y más complejos trabajos de Genesis interpretado a la perfección por esta magistral agrupación. Mis felicitaciones especiales al vocalista quien tuvo la difícil tarea de reemplazar nada más y nada menos que a Peter Gabriel, mucho mejor de lo que pudo llegar a hacerlo Phil Collins.
Quizá lo único deficiente en mi opinión, es la interpretación de la flauta por parte del vocalista, pero en realidad su desempeño como vocalista es tan Bueno, que se lo perdono.

Wow, at first I tought it was a mistake, saying Genetics instead of Genesis. The sound and stage set almost caught me. What am I listening to?? Genesis, in 2014? Is this a reunion concert with seventies atmosphere? Is Peter really singing live with Phil back on the drums??
Well, wish it was true. I would fly to anywhere in the world just to see it happen before my eyes.
Well, a few mistakes here and there, but in overall you have done a great live performance.

Очень похоже. Но фанат как я, все замечу. Чувствуется, другие руки играют. Дженезис не переиграить и не перепеть. Вторым или каким то клоном не стать! Габриэля и Коллинза не сменить, не подменить. Смогли только немного спародировать.

Un trabajo sin duda sorprendente, para mi es mas una obra de arte, esta banda me parece mejor que el conjunto que hizo Hackett, no digo que ese conjunto sea malo pero a comparación de este la verdad me gusta mucho mas, aparte de que es un buen concierto de 2:42:03 hrs, es magnifico es un concierto que Hackett no a podido hacer, digo todas las canciones de este concierto estan bien ejecutadas, para mi las hicieron a la perfeccion, y su vestuario ni se diga, gracias por este video, gracias por compartirlo con nosotros...
Respeto que digas que es mejor Genetics que el conjunto de Hackett, pero no lo comparto.
Yo como fan incondicional de Genesis, admiro la etapa de Peter Gabriel y me hubiese gustado vivir un concierto de aquella época en primera fila. Pero creo que fue un momento histórico (Gabriel es único) y como tal, no me parecería afortunado que Hackett en solitario hiciese tributo a Genesis, interpretándo los temas identicos sin la banda original; porque perdería su identidad como artista.
He tenido el placer de ver en directo a Steve Hackett, en 2010, y ha sido impecable, no he sentido nostalgia hacia los clásicos de Genesis. Más que nada porque he tenido la fortuna de poder ver justo antes ver a "Agents Of Mercy" interpretando temas de su disco "Fading Ghosts of Twillight". Nad Sylvan me trasladó a ese sentimiento que Gabriel podría ofrecer a los fans. Creo que es un ejemplo de que se puede evolucionar manteniendo la esencia.
En mi opinión a los tributos les falta esencia (aunque es admirable lograr ese resultado que ofrece una banda tributo, y sobre todo Genetics). Ver simplemente a unos imitadores interpretando lo que grandes maestros nos han ofrecido, a mi, no me satisface. En cambio, hablando de Agents Of Mercy, creo que mantienen ese sentimiento vivo y actual.
Invito a la gente a una reflexión sobre Hackett (muy criticado entre los puristas) y es que Hackett es, y siempre ha sido, un prodigio de artista poco reconocido. Creo que no se ha estancado y ha sabido evolucionar fiel a sus principios y ha mantenido una calidad musical muy acertada en cada trabajo en solitario (te puede gustar más o menos, pero ha crecido como artista siguiendo su camino) y en constante renovación. A mi juicio nos ha ofrecido a los fans un abanico impresionante de posibilidades dentro de rock progresivo.
NOTA: reconozco que Genetics hace una interpretación muy precisa y acertada, sobre todo a nivel musical. No quiero que se piense que les quiero restar méritos, en absoluto; solo manifestar mi defensa hacia el trabajo de Hackett.
Santificatus Concuerdo contigo, el guitarrista de genetics es bastante bueno, pero Steve toca con mas personalidad y no tiene miedo de agregar cosas nuevas, lo mismo con el baterista, es muy bueno, pero para mi la forma de tocar de Gary es mucho mas interesante. Ademas el y su banda tocan temas de Atott y W&W, albumes que tambien me encantan. En marzo podre ver a Steve por primera vez.
Yo acabo de ver a Hackett y su grupo la semana pasada en vivo. Impresionantes. Te recomiendo que los veas y después hablamos. Hackett nunca va a hacer eso por que no le interesa hacerlo. ¿O tu crees que no lo ha hecho por que no puede?
Steve Hackett não vive agarrado ao passado, traz-nos as músicas que todos amamos - e ele, co-compositor, também - sem preocupações com as versões originais. Está no seu direito, e as músicas brilham com as interpretações dos competentes músicos que com ele tocam. Mas sentimos sempre o maior respeito pelo trabalho dos Genesis. Aliás, como também os Genetics. Com também os canadianos The Musical Box. Ouçamo-los a todos, com respeito e gratidão, pelas visões que nos trazem da obra dos Genesis que, para nós, será sempre mágica.
La bande revisted, de Hackett, esta muy lejos de la banda Argentina, que es insuperable, fallecido su primer cantante, lo releva Price, tan genial como aquel, que viva por simpre GENETICS, par que esta musica sea conocida por las nuevas generaciones.
