I like the expansion of MPL, but I'm concerned about a few things as we move more towards making MPL an E-sports friendly game. Sure MPL needs the funding and views, but at the cost of slashing and banning of the yard?
Just a note: in the battle minigame where Bowser's head blows up, everyone actually does have equal odds. While there is a higher chance that someone later in the rotation blows up, they also have a chance of not going at all. As an example, I'll simplify it to when there are only two players left. The first person has a 1/3 chance of blowing up. Simple enough. Then, the second person has a 1/3 chance of winning (from the first person blowing up), so there's a 2/3 chance that they have to make a decision, and then a 1/2 chance of blowing up. 2/3 x 1/2 = 1/3, so they both have a 1/3 chance of blowing up (and a 1/3 chance that they do another round).

The first player has 1/5 chance to grab the explosive and 4/5 not too. That means for the second player to go, the first player needs the 4/5 chance to not explode. Then multiply that by the second players 1/4 chance to explode. 4/5 x 1/4 = 4/20 = 1/5. You can do this for every player. 4/5 x 3/4 (chance player 2 doesnt pull the bomb) x 1/3 (chance player 3 does pull it) = 12/60 = 1/5 and so on.

Sorry you’d have to pass 1st grade to learn it. When someone pushes one, the chances of blowing up go up too. Since there’s always 1 explosion, it’s a constant, the variable is how many saves there are. 4 saves have a higher chance than being left with a coin flip. Was it that hard to understand?
Slime dropped A LOT of false info though is my main gripe with him. He would often give out information that wouldn't apply to Mario Party 4 specifically, since each Mario Party is a little bit different he probably got it mixed up with other mario parties.

Zain got the mini game star strictly because he teamed with people who won, he was always in the winning team in a 1 vs 3 or 2 vs 2. There weren't that many 4 player mini games played. I think Mango and Amsa won a lot of the 4 player games
Honestly all the mario partys are good except for 8, 9 and 10 lol. Minigames are fun in 10 but the maps and playstyle is not that fun. 8 and 9 just suck overall in my opinion
