I always thought Stephen Lang was an underrated actor. From his portrayal of Ike Clanton in "Tombstone" to his roll in "Avatar", he's always stood out as a talented diverse actor who deserves more recognition!

The idea that most people will do whatever they want unless they are prosecuted... Stupid, VERY stupid.
Even in this day and age, anyone can go into a dark alley and kill the first person they see, and then just walk away without being found. That is why serial maniacs are so hard to catch, because there is no clear connection between the killer and the victim.
In addition, in our time there is no death penalty for a crime, but being killed or maimed as a result of the victim's self-defense is a very real prospect that often stops violence.
There is also blood feud. And few people will be interested in the government's opinion on the legality of someone's actions in this situation.

The funny thing is that if some idiot politician thought of doing one day of lawlessness. This would not have affected ordinary residents, who would simply sit out all the events at home. Instead, there would be a global armed conflict between politicians and gangs for the redistribution of power and spheres of influence.

There are really some good scary movie out there, night house is my favourite, its not just typical demonic story, but also involved somekind a scifi thing that like time paradox

That's actually true. The survival rates of shark attacks are somewhere around 75-80 percent. After having a taste they just give up and go looking for something decent.
People still die and sometimes they go on a rampage like the Jersey massacre which inspired Jaws.
@@JEB66 The Jersey sharks attacks weren't a rampage or a massacre. 4 people died from shark attacks over the course of 12 days, the reason for this was a record breaking heat wave that drove thousands to the water to cool off, many of these people swimming after dark and in already shark infested waters.

Just finished The Superdeep. Ummm. It reminded me more of early 90's sci-fi. I am not a sci-fi expert, so take it for what you will. There were a lot of problematic parts, but the last 30 minutes made it an interesting watch. Would I watch it again? Probably not. Great acting by Milena Radulovic though.

As many other shark horror movies as we've gotten we might as well have gotten Jaws 17 like Back to the Future said there'd be, at this point I feel they wanted to make more sequels but didn't want to be sell outs. No shark movie is going to top Jaws, and there's been so many shark horror movies since, banking on the "realism" of some situations like in this movie, just release Jaws 5, Jurassic World has done well. Even if I haven't watched past 3 Tremors is holding by a thread since the 1st movie, still has sequels being made, the 7th last October.
So to answer your question, the reason Jaws movies aren't still being made is because the creator of Jaws realized that his movies encouraged excessive fear and unnecessary culling of sharks. He has stated if he could, he would have never created Jaws. Also, Shrieker Island is the official conclusion to Tremors.

Is it? I felt like I heard that back when they were making Tremors 3, I saw one of the newer ones but it wasn't that great, wasn't scary felt like it was just being made for the comedy, which if it was that's fine, just wasn't my thing.
Yeah I guess that makes sense too... and yet people are still making other shark horror movies that don't even come close to Jaws, some I've seen are ok, Meg was meh, can't remember some others off top of my head, one with goblin sharks. I still can't believe Spielberg said that, it was his master piece, the golden child, as well as Jurassic Park and the sequels have... as well as JP and World have done, he won awards for Jaws, it was a smash hit, master piece, revered as art among movies. I know it caused a lot of people to fear sharks, not top 3 but fear of ocean and/or sharks pretty high up there. However if people are still going to make those kinds of movies, the last 2 weren't that scary played up for goofs, then why not make more. Go crazy, Cyber Jaws, Jaws 10 Jaws in Space, tag line watch out for the space jaws (don't know why but Space Balls song was in my head, WATCH OUT we're the space jaaaaaws), I'd watch that over any Sharknado.
