WASP's first album is easily the rawest, but some of the demos legitimately sound better than the album's versions, especially animal and tormentor. I wish they had made studio versions of some other songs like Harley Heart though
This is incredible!! This is the cleanest version ive heard of the demo. I had a dubbed cassette copy of it back then and of course it was like an 18th generation copy this is so great to hear!! And dude these photos WOW!!! behind the scenes of the debut album.cover man this made my night!! Incredible!! Brought me right back to being a teenager when the first album came out!! Thank you!!
Yes, you're right! How i dream, that one day Blackie will blow the dust off old cassettes and release these jewels.... By the way, as he said, there were 3 versions of the mix of the debut album, i can only dream, how they all sounded differently from the final one...

Sound quality is pretty killer. I can hear everything better than I can on the studio album. Demos sound better than the final production sometimes. Thanks for sharing!I love this tune!

Hellion is joint favourite W.A.S.P. song, together with B.A.D., which were the first two W.A.S.P. songs I ever heard, way back in 1984 too when my best friends brother bought their debut album, and those two tracks got me instantly hooked, and I've never looked back since. 😀

Wow I saw these guys 12 or 13 times at the Troubador . The only club band at that time that came thru 100% of the time. Incredible band. Funny thing is my friends and I would get complimentary tickets from Chris Holmes or Randy Piper, but they had a 2 or 3 drink minimum.
Mad but a little, for the studio album. But the guys who are listen this carnage had a many surprised. Metallica and Megadeth is nice near the Blackie mad and bad boy band.
