Discipleship

In today's message, God's people are reminded about the meaning of discipleship.
Reading from Joshua 1:1, God had called Joshua to complete the mission of leading the children of Israel to the promised land after several years in the wilderness. We see Joshua a disciple taught by Moses arise in Moses's stead to complete the mission of his master.
Discipleship is the ability to follow, learn from and be able to represent your teacher. A disciple is fully focused and passionate in what his master does.
We are reminded that God directs his ministers to choose disciples. As God's people, we should be willing to listen to the leading of God and follow his word which he speaks through his anointed ministers. We should have faith and believe in the spoken word of God through his prophets. Amen.
