I wonder if your friend is still doing silversmithing? It's such an incredible story, how it all had happened! It meant to be like that, all predestined. Words fail me when I try to say how much I love your work.♥️♥️♥️
Patricia (Hamilton) Freeman trained at the Sir John Cass College in London. She now works as a silversmith and jeweller in Oxfordshire, specializing in tableware and small domestic objects. Patricia especially enjoys working in hand raised silver. She makes pieces which are both sculptural and organic, but which are intended for daily use. The expression of movement in her work is a constant aim, and takes various forms, for instance in chasing and piercing. The small pierced fish which adorn the edge of one of her hammered silver bowls are a good example of the latter. Commissions are welcomed and enjoyed. Prices range from £20 - £2,000 Patricia has exhibited widely in Europe and America including the Chelsea Crafts Fair and Goldsmith's Hall, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Dallas and Los Angeles.
I feel like her part of the project can be replaced by any novice silversmith and it would still come out looking good with a full gold interior and high skilled polish, none of which are done by her.
