They're both lovely birds and although the Nuthatch is fairly easy to track the Treecreeper is a harder bird to film as it moves so quickly. You're right of course, they are both so preoccupied with feeding they normally don't notice you!

I was very lucky to see both of them in Bushy Park yesterday. Such amazing little creatures. There were 2 nuthatches, one of them presumably juvenile, who went into a hole in the tree.

You were lucky, they both move so fast. I believe there was a big flock of Waxwings in Bushy Park (according to Bird Guides), did you see them?
