That’s the path I follow as well. There are enough one and twostars to use. If you find good 5ers, keep them or trash/sell them if you won‘t use them in future.
Ever since the damage formula has been figured out, we now know how important base damage (the number showing on your stat screen) and X% damage increases are. We always knew damage was important, but now it's confirmed just how important it is to the point where, technically, most 2 star and a bunch of 1 star gems are better than 5 star (of course the effect needs to be taken into account). This is why Berserker Eye and BSJ are so impactful. The new (patch 1.8) 2 star gem Pain Clasp is also extremely powerful if you use a form of continuous damage often. It also increases damage done to the target from other sources (other players). Lastly, 5* gems are only really practical when ranked up, at least rank 3. You need to take that into account when going for a 5*. That's all I wanted to share. I'm happy to answer any questions.
As far as I tested new set does not work for other party members. However it works for all YOUR sources AND it makes shepherd useless. Golem or gems stack up to 10 quite easly. Its better and works for any of your soruce.
@@vk.videos Hmm, I know the 2* Pain Clasp makes it for all sources from my testing, but it was very limited. I figured the 2pc set would act the same given the way it's worded. Also from a Barb perspective, we have virtually 100% uptime with our Wrath burn aura which procs Pain Clasp so it's practically just a really powerful Berserkers Eye with a pre-requisite for Barbs. With all these new Lego gems I can hardly keep up and it's hard to know what is going to work best with a lightning crusader. Great vid again VK :) I swear by Berserkers, Torment, Power/Command, BSJ, Bile & Bloody Reach as the most bang for my "barely spend" bucks lol (I do swap to Echoing for Challenge rifts and to Chip for BG though) I am only very low spender (BP only purchase) so currently only rank 3 on BSJ, Bile, Shade and Chip (and they are all only 3/5 because of cost lol) but Rank 3 is enough to proc the seondary effects such as the movement speed from bsj, slow from bile etc... I love that your summons are boosted by primary attack, so power command has become a favorite 2* alongside Bloody Reach due to it's exploitable "summons gain damage boost based on where player stood) so you stand at distance and both yourself & summons gain the full range damage boost :) BUT! this new 2* that boosts damage on target if they have DoT effect could be good (burning/posion from golem, DoT from Torment, DoT from bile)
I'm a Necro with exactly those 6 gems. But I just got a 5/5 bound Bottled Hope that I can get to Rank 3, so I feel like I gotta use it... it'll replace Everlasting Torment, I guess.
Will you prepare part 2? I'm at the stage where I have gems in my stash and considering off I should level up my 3/5 howlers to level 4 because I already have a dupe. Or grind more to get 3/5 chip or BH and then still it could be level 3 because of no dupes
If you want to use gems like BH then you should build you necro around it. To use its full potential. Right now im useing BH on my pve build and works great. Also you buff your team witch helps a lot.

I’m currently p580 in hell 6 and my gems are beserkers, bloody, carsens, everlasting pain and subjugation and freedom. I just managed to get a pain clasp and was curious if you were able to test it at all? I’m mostly f2p and only bought one battle pass so far. I was thinking of switching carsens for pain clasp . I really enjoy using wraith and fear pants. I used to use reapers but switched to the empowered mages after your video :) I also use normal skeles and fire golem I usually throw fire golem on and throw mages up then use wraith and fear in on them and then back off again spamming soulfire it works but I am wondering if you have any recommendations or suggestions that would work using wraith and fear pants and the pain clasp gem? Appreciate any advice you can offer keep up the awesome content!! :)
I choose some but I dropped 2 4/5, the other gems I already had so I ended up with howler call 4/5 , frozen heath 4/5 , seeping bile 4/5 ,bsj 3/5 , bottled hope 3/5 and echoing shade , but I really wanted the new primary attack 5/5 gem but im broke .
Finally, a video😊. I was starting to worry my support goes for nothing. Great video, as always. I am a mid spender and have already spent some money on the game, so I am slowly approaching a point where I have to say goodbye to berserker’s eye or tornment, as soon I will need a 5th 5 start hem in the collections.
Sometimes its better to do a break. Especially if you cant focus on something enough. I think it works for me. There is again a lot of stuff to explore.
berserker give around 19% dmg boost that include crit. it is worth on its own like 2k reso. Fang doesn't work with summons, they cannot advance it nor can they use its bonus. Only your primary will stack it and benefits from it. Pretty useless for necro, unless getting up to 24% more primary attack dmg on boss after like 10 seconds sounds good to you.

Hello. I just have similar feelings. Since most of a classes are builded around crits from gloom set and crtis "can not be blocked". I was trying to use 4 pieces of Mountebank and it helped a bit. However you become almost no damage char.

Yeah. But it depends in what state your character is. If you finally menage to over kill your pve then it could look like you explained. Keep in mind that not everyone was able to achieve it yet.
This is only useful for newer players, unfortunately, or players who have a decent chunk of disposable income. For f2p players or low spenders that have already gotten several 5 star gems to lvl 3 or 4... that is a big investment to just start on another new 5 star gem... Edit: but still good to post videos like this. Hopefully, it will save some people some time or $$$
It also depends on what you get. My second Char is a low Spender and has none of these fivestars mentioned. But with his low resonance the second char always gets the battlefield legend first. He uses 4 one star and 2 two star gems and also does a great job in pve and pvp and also makes great fun to play. In my opinion 5 stars are nice to have, but not essential for having fun in the game. PS:I had a third char, I dropped a few weeks ago witch was almost as fast getting legend in battlefields with lower equipment then the second char - also played h7 pve with 5 one star gems.
After some time it might look obvious but as you said for less experienced players its great info. So they dont need to waste resources on bad stuff. Keep it mind that viewers are different.

Bruh…I got a 4/5 howlers…got my fervent fang to rank 8. It’s much better…I’m considering stopping howlers just my2c.

If you play pure summoner then best family is no family bonus. Primary, summon dmg and crit dmg is something you should have in each iteam.

Yeah fervent fang is great on any non summoner build. Definietly dont use it with your summons.

PaC doesnt work for summons. About lightning core not much i just dont prefer it.
