Edo my friend, outstanding catch/video & very rare indeed. Were you having an airshow there at Split for this plane to arrive there ?, I live several hours from Wright Patterson Air Force Base & every year there is an air show at Dayton, Ohio Airport with many various aircraft, only place I have seen one of these & I'll be 59 yrs old next week, & majored in Aviation starting in 1981. Dayton, Ohio, Oshkosh Wisconsin, & Pensocola, Florida have the top 3 rated airshows here, well done & you were in the right place at the right time pal.
Something I noticed on landing rollout… at touchdown he retracted the flaps fully up and then when he turned in to the parking apron the flaps were gapped open again. Anyone know why?
@chuck cawthon, My friend, is it or was it cold their or any icing ?, if so, droops, flaps, etc... can be deployed to break ice, etc... May be the reason, or could have been an avionic warning in regards to a flap malfunction, performed pre-flight/post-flight in regards to U.S. military avionic checks, also, if icing conditions are probable, the deployment of the flaps by the flap track rails will provide a quicker de-icing pre-departure procedure with that gap in the flaps & air foils/wings
@Leonardo Mello , my friend, I do not know of a civilian/commercial design manufactured like this, but one that is somewhat close is called a Constellation & was very popular with TWA in the U.S. ( Trans World Airlines, now defunct) years ago, you can google & see
@@stevelogan5475 Hi Steve, yes i'm aware about the Constellation, a beautiful aircraft for sure, but it doesn't look comparable to the Greyhound... maybe an Antonov An-26 would be similar to it
