I'm a stage 4 lung/liver cancer survivor. I was in a coma for 3 months and my family was told I wasn't going to make it. Yet by the grace of our God, Jesus Christ saved me. Stay strong in your faith he hears you. You just have to get to know him and trust in him. I've been cancer free for 8 years now. All glory to our amazing Jesus Christ!

We lost our 22 year old son 8 weeks ago in a motorcycle crash. He knew Jesus and this gives us tremendous peace. Jesus showed us the way and one day soon those graves will open up. Great song, well done!!!

I have terminal metastatic breast cancer. While sitting waiting for my chemo I listen to online sermons and Christian music. I was particularly nervous this day. I started playing this video while getting set up. The holy spirit filled me right there in that chair. My fears left me. Except for the worry people would think I lost my mind in a chemo bay. I was crying uncontrollable. Praise God. Ain't no grave gonna hold my body down. If he walked out of the grave I'm walking too. I'm following you Jesus.

I am still alive. Thank you. My cancer is one that is noncurable. I continue to try to keep christ close until I go meet him.
And He will receive you with open arms.
I have a friend who was sent home to die after chemo and radiation treatments failed to help battle the 4th stage colon cancer. She said her husband had to sometimes clean her up up to 27 times a day around the clock!
She went in for a follow up exam and the doctor informed her she now had Leukemia also. When she announced the news to her husband, he walked out.
So left alone, she saw she had limited options: lay there and die or seek the face of GOD. So she prayed for Father to reveal any sin she needed to repent from. She stated it wasn't easy but she began reading Genesis verse by verse through Revelation.
Then came a follow up visit at the clinic. She waited in the exam room and wondered if they'd forgotten her? She would give it a few more minutes though. Then came a knock on the door and the doctor enters holding a paper in each hand. He walked to her, raising his hands in the air and turned around in a circle.
She asked, "Doc, are YOU alright?"! He declared, "There's been a miracle! No! There's two! ...No sign of cancer anywhere!
Her husband returned home. She said she couldn't blame him; he had just been completely tapped out. This all happened about 26 years ago.

This performance brought me to tears. This song was sung at the Baptist church we attended in the early 90s. My mom would jump up and raise her arms to Heaven. It embarrassed me then, but it is a core memory now. She went to meet her maker in 1999, but I still mourn for her, even tho I know she's at peace now. 24 years ago or yesterday, still hurts.

I buried my older brother last week. He was 72 and a lover of Jesus and His word. This was his favorite song. We sang it at his funeral, many heard the Word of the Lord.
I"m glad he is home and he will welcome you with arms wide open!

I had 4th stage lymphoma and two DVT at 25 the power of Jesus let me go back to work after first chemo treatment. I did 1.5 years of chemo I will be 44 this year and still living a good life other than meds and my boys are 23 and 22.

Although I'm a Christian, I usually shy away from a lot of praise music because frankly is seems a little light. But this? This is perfect. As others have said, it's in the 'outlaw country' style, almost menacing, like she's threatening and taunting death and evil. Theologically deep yet simple, putting Jesus's victory over sin and death front an center and that this victory is ours. No grave will hold our body down. I have been listening to this song at least two or three times a day and wish I could find more music like this. Gritty country sounds that put the Gospel in your face.

I pray you are holding steadily to our Lord Jesus as you navigate life. I have lupus and he’s partially healed me(he took away the awful mini strokes I used to have )but the fatigue and an additional pain syndrome are still there. BUT, I can now drive and walk without difficulty. (When the mini stokes disappeared I had to gradually rehab myself but it’s awesome now!!)
If this ain’t church, then we don’t know what it is to be in His Presence. Glory to God, got Holy Spirit chills running all through me!

I meant that people, when hearing praise or worship music, are too fast to assign all their feelings and fysiological reactions to Holy Spirit. I got goosebumps too when listening this and many other music, both secular and christian, but that's my body's normal reaction and I woudn't assign it to Holy Spirit.
I used to live my whole life in the darkness. I used to mock Jesus and all of His followers when I was still an atheist. I used to believe that I didn't need anyone in my life. I tore my Bible years ago because I hated the idea of God so much. I can't believe that this was me before - a person who never had the chance to know who God really is until I found Him. I am so happy I found Jesus now. I never turned back ever again when I found Him in that same place. His grace cured me and His love saved me from myself so truly I tell you, God can heal anyone. 😊

i sang this in a cementary with my daughter listening after i explained to her that we all face the eastern sky when we are buried and when the Lord comes to call us to him, the dead in christ will rise first and then us that remain alive in him after. it was a surreal feeling explaining that to her in that place and pointing up toward the eastern skies and singing there aint no grave gonna hold my body down. didnt care who heard me either.
I love watching Molly sing. She doesn't make herself up to be somebody she isn't. She is a real person. For her (unlike many others on the stage), it isn't about putting on a show for the cameras. And of course she has a great voice....

I can't listen to this without chills and tears when she hits that note after the bridge it just makes me burst into tears, Jesus is real.
When my mom passed away after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer I was bedside ( very close ) and immediately after her last breath left her lungs I saw her spirit lift up from her body a few feet and then she disappeared 😔 She was 68 years old and the cancer had done it's damage but what I saw was a very beautiful young woman peacefully sleeping 👍😔 Awesome song 👍😎❗
Ain't no Grave was written by Rev Claude Ely. He died in 1977 while at church in northern Kentucky. After preaching he was playing the organ and doing an altar call. Died from a heart attack
To add.....he wrote it when he had tuberculosis in 1934. Good old Appalachian Virginia gospel! Later, it was recorded by several Black Gospel singers also. Awesome song!
