Yes. Bigger Crew Limit, Decimal Speed Display, Realistic Ammo Capacity, Auto Sub Lights, and Breathe Easier to name a few. A lot of it is personal preference. Last I checked the slot machine mod (which gives you more storage slots) wasn't entirely working, but that's another good one. Oh and how dare I forget Sounds of War; makes the sonar pings and other sounds much less annoying. Anyway, thanks for watching.
1:44:05 Yea this game is coded like crap. 20 years when I was self-educated I managed to program framerate independent game system that was scalable for multiple cores without problem. (But of course the more cores, the more power consumption, and the slower RAM transfers gets. So yea, stuff was smooth, but nowadays it's better to optimize it for 4 cores or perhaps only 2, and be done with it. 2 cores eats 35 Watts, 4 cores eats 70 Watts, most people want to play games for cheap, and don't want to become power plant manager just to be able to play games and afford electricity for top end CPU and graphic cards.) Well beggars can't be choosers. Silent Hunter 3 with mods is still top simulation. But, I'd like to have commercial companies that tries to have higher standards. Baldur's Gate 3 was well done (even when story was just fan fiction). Lot of games nowadays kinda feels like they were made by people fresh from school with basic skills instead of die hard fans who spend a lot more effort than they were paid for. I still snicker when I remember Mass Effect Andromeda. These character animations and voice acting was something special.
Interesting take. Basically as hardware gets better, it's used as an excuse not to optimize instead of an asset to take advantage of. That's how I see it, anyway.
I could listen to you all night my friend! I've just started Uboat, did you mention running any mods with it? Thanks.

How to make 9 officer in U-Boat?
It's a mod called "Bigger Crew Limit" which allows more crew and more officers.
