Hi Linda, hope you're keeping well. How kind of Jay Jay. One rose lover to another. I've been so busy in my garden this week as I'd say it's the first time that we've had consecutive days of dry weather. Weeded a few borders but still another two do do. At least the worst one, which I call the long border, is finished. I was telling my brother this and he said, "You make it sound like Chatsworth!" which made me laugh as my whole house and garden would fit in one of their puddles! Ground has been water logged and at the beginning of the week my foot came out of my wellie on two occasions. Another vlogger said it reminded her of Margo on The Good Life but I was happy to tell her that I kept my balance. Your Camellia looks stunning already and as you said, look at all those buds still to come. Bet you've been kept busy too Linda as the gardens are springing back to life. Hope Mr. Lewie is well and being a good boy. x

@wendybartlett6717 Hi Wendy, yes isn't it lovely of Jay Jay it's a beautiful rose I love it. Such a nice surprise. I'm so thrilled with it. I am happy to hear you've been able to get out in your garden at last. The weather is being a bit kinder to us. You made me chuckle with your wellie haha my lawn is muddy too, terrible mess but we have had a few dry days so I know it will eventually come good. It's not as squelchy this week ! Oh I used to love Margo what a fabulous series that was :) Lewie is hanging in there, thank you Wendy, he is a bit wobbly, sleeps an awful lot now but he is still enjoying food, of course his sight is very bad now so I'm going out in the garden with him and have him on a lead if he's having a really bad day as he just bangs in to everything :( I make him chicken fillet and veg dinners and he loves those he likes roast beef too ! my husband jokes Lewie is better fed than him haha x

Haha your welcome Linda. Nicely packaged that made me smile, more plastic than a plastic thing but it got recycled at least. You’re very welcome I hope you enjoy. I think a great rose that’s healthy, fragrant, long lasting flowers that do well in poorer weather. Bless you and thanks for showing us around your garden. That camellia looks fab.

@Jay_Jay haha I love bubble wrap too so don't worry about that ! It keeps my plant babies warm in the winter time I recycle everything :) I'm from Yorkshire I think we're born that way or some might say we're a bit tight haha I am so touched it's a lovely rose she's tucked up in the potting shed for the evening i'll probably plant her tomorrow when I figure out where she wants to live, thanks again, it's very much appreciated x

Be careful where you put the osmanthus. Mine was ruined when frost made the flowers turn brown.

@marilynsmith8054 Hi, thank you yes I will. I did put it in the garage on a couple of nights that were forecast -5c this winter. I'm sorry to hear your flowers were caught by the frosts what a shame, it's a lovely shrub. I'm not sure if I can keep it in this pot for long, I will have to remove it and take a good look at the roots because I'd like to keep it in a pot if I can but it's quite large now so may be better off in the ground but I like being able to move it about, especially when it's in flower, I place it next to a bench so we can enjoy the perfume for a few weeks then I move it away and swap it for bulbs or azaleas, pots are very handy for that.
