In my opinion, this man is THE SINGLE greatest performer in the history of the business. That’s not to say there aren’t plenty of others who could nearly be considered his equal. But when you look at his career. The accolades. The fame. The streak. The Undertaker IS WWE. Growing up, I watched nearly everything from what was current at the time to everything from his past. It didn’t matter which side of the fence he was on, good guy or bad, I was a Creature of the Night. I followed that man’s career every which way it went and now, as I hear this music again, I’m reminded that there will never be another man like him in the professional wrestling business. He was the benchmark. The measuring stick. He was it. Now I’m not trying to say WWE will fail without him, because it won’t. But for myself and many other fans, nothing will ever feel the same without him around. WWE won’t feel the same. His retirement truly marked the end of the greatest era professional wrestling ever saw. Probably ever will see. Rest In Peace, Undertaker. And thank you, Mark, for giving your talents to the world. See you at the Hall of Fame ceremonies one day.
"My time has come to let the Undertaker... REST. IN. PEACE." - The Undertaker: Survivor Series 2020 The Undertaker is officially retired. All hail the Deadman.
This gimmick and the story they developed around it was so awesome. I’d love to see an origin story style movie for Taker and Kane. One that sees them as children growing up in a funeral parlor. Taker having a fascination with the dead, Kane as a pyromaniac. Then the fire happening that split them and the fate of each. Corny? Maybe but I’d have a blast watching it.
Dude we need like a high budget HBO type series for that, it'd be sick. Each wrestler's arc is like 4-5 episodes and they cover 2-3 per season with this mostly fictional but serious backstory for great wrestlers. Could be nuts.
I love 'Taker, it hurt so much to see him retire...💔i remember being a kid and going to a showing of WWE, and The Undertaker came out to this music and did his usual slow walk down the ramp to the ring, i was in the front row by the ramp, seeing him up close doing that, with the music, was so perfect and even today many years later i get goosebumps thinking back to it. I was starstruck. easily the best superstar wwe has ever had or will have.
WWE is the Undertaker.... and the Undertaker is WWE. And what Mark puts in the ring for the last decades... thats absolutely the biggest honor for us all. Because everytime when he was in the ring, he gave all he had at the time. Of course if you go such a long distance of 30 plus years, you are not able to be always on peak... but for me this does not count. what counts in my oppinion is that he had the heart and the balls to go in this damn ring and deliver all he had. for the passion, the fans, himself and many other reasons only he knows. everybody that had a major injury or operation knows how long you feel this... but the taker always goes back and take some more. Dear Taker I really lift my hat for you.

He was, and still is, my absolute favorite wrestler. I lost interest in WWE when he stopped wrestling full-time, and unfortunately I was born in '98 so I missed out on his golden years. But I loved watching the old matches after the fact. I bet he was THE most respected wrestler the WWE has ever seen, and possibly ever will see. This is actually making me cry.
Undertaker was something else even from his early days. I was born in 80, so I got to see him from the beginning. Undertaker was always a legend, even then!
You can still watch old matches on TH-cam 😄😄😄
Undertaker was the best
@@bendavis4210 He _is_ the best. It would be damn hard for anyone to match the Undertaker, let alone surpass him. No wrestler has or ever will deserve a place in the Hall of Fame more than Undertaker. I think even most of the other wrestlers in the WWE would agree.

For you younger kids out there. This man right here was one of the best to ever have stepped foot into the ring. A literal legend. And has never lost but once. Undertaker thank you for all the amazing memories you left us. We love & respect you man.

Man Trump 2024 BABY!!!!!
This is not just a theme ... it is emotion for 90s kid...
I will not surprised if this will declare as anthem of WWE. 💪🙌

I will forever love and miss the Undertaker as my childhood is now gone and THANK YOU TAKER!😀😥
Actually would be pretty great .
Dude we need like a high budget HBO type series for that, it'd be sick. Each wrestler's arc is like 4-5 episodes and they cover 2-3 per season with this mostly fictional but serious backstory for great wrestlers. Could be nuts.
@@Taima is it bad that I want to write this?
Not corny people these days just get offended way to quickly

As a child, I used not to be scared of either Undertaker himself or his entrance song, and I wished for it to be played at my funeral. Now, although so many years have passed and I've grown into an adult, I still want this track to be used for that event. Total Respect, Mr. Mark Calaway. You have been and will always be my greatest hero.

When I was a child, I thought the Undertaker was real and the scariest person I had ever seen. I used to look away from the TV when he would roll his eyes back. None of this stopped him from being my absolute favorite wrestler. I was lucky enough to see him at a small Smackdown house show and, even though I was a kid, the experience was amazing.
