This is out of character for mordin as is for grunt Mordin doesn't hate krogans like other salarians he feels guilty but hides it behind it was necessary (it really was because he said they could extinct them ) And grunt its indifferent about the genophage and the hate on krogans enemies he only wants to fight no matter the enemy
I don't understand why people say this is out of character for Mordin. It feels very much in-character for me. Fits him perfectly imo. Only reason this was cut was time probably.
At least in my point of view Mordin is out of character not by his responses but by the situation he's in, he and grunt arguing about the genophage doesn't make sense, if it was okeer or wrex It would be more believable since both of them have strong opinions about the genophage, but grunt feels nothing for his people until he goes the rite of passage, and even then he only cares about the fight, he's indifferent about the genophage and what happened to the Krogan, he ain't a mindless brute though, he simply doesn't care about it, so if grunt is so indifferent why would he argue with Mordin?, it feels forced and out of place, and mordin responses are also a little bit off, mordin is too emotional now, like he couldn't process and accept what happened in his loyalty mission (which in the game he does), in other crew fights at least there are moments that cement the conflict (though with legion and Tali we don't get to see much ) But mordin and grunt don't even acknowledge each other, mordin's only comment on grunt that I've remember was that comment on okeers plan of creating the perfect Krogan (the part in Wich he doubts grunt would have had the effect okeer expected) so not only is out of place but there was no build up for it.
This is how Mordin should be. They always talk about what a ruthless killer he is, but you never see that. Eventually he should get pissed off and not want to deal with everyone's bullshit, just like anyone else. Saying this is out of character for him is saying that you like your characters one note and familiar.

The paragon option seems like a whimper and for that alone I am glad it was cut from the game.
I can see why they removed this. Mordin's very out of character here.
Especially calling Shepard "Human"
Yeah, seriously. It's very...pathetic for Mordin. He's sulking like teenager.
@@wilder11and he’s pretty much elderly.
@@stephenking5852 Wait... old people often sulk like teenagers... maybe this is genius...
Oh shoot. That human sounded so salty.
Hard to say if it is or isn't OOC for Mordin when we don't really know what and how badly did he and Grunt argue about.
Are there audio files of the mentioned argument? Is it possible to reintegrate it into the game?
You've got to love Mordin - simply an amazing character.
Your Shepard is so pretty
Would you mind sharing your FemShep code (or mods)? Looks really good.
Talk to the hand :D
0:32 is great.
face code?
He’s a lot more emotional here juxtaposed to his somewhat apathetic or practical nature in me2-3.
Good thing they deleted it. Mordin is VERY out of character here. He acts like some teenager, while from Salarian point of view he is pretty old.
