That creature is in so much pain. It should be put down. Letting an animal get this sick is useless as the farmer is just feeding an animal and having it take up space with nothing in return. If you let your animals get to this point you might as well let it go. If you take some care in them, you limit your critical cases to lessen loss of your animals.
